Dead by Disconnections - Anyone with the same problem?
Yesterday I tried to play 4 matchs, on each of them I had at least one disconnection.
Today , in my first match oof the day and after a survivor was found, he disconnected.
Looks like this is the situation of the game now:
- If the survivor is knocked down, he disconnects.
- if the killer was looped, don't hit anyone and 1 or more gens were repaired, he disconnects.
Does anyone have the same problem? My friends don't want to play this game anymore because of this. It's so sad to see an amazing game like this.

You're not alone, this is happening everywhere, and the devs are aware of it, but aren't planning to get it under control until the dedicated servers go online and the disciplinary committee is established.
Some DC'ing is caused by bugs in the game right now which is acceptable, but in comparison to toxic DC'ing, its in the minority. Players are currently getting away with repetitive DC'ing until they find a match that is easier for them. In other words they are using the fact that they aren't getting penalized to rig the game in their favor while ruining the experience for everyone else. They literally disconnect for any reason they want, and blame the game for "not being fun" or "frustrating" as their excuse when called out on it, when in reality they are just practicing poor sportsmanship at toxic levels, and its killing the game.
The Devs have the power to do a ban wave right now, and they have the tools and data that tells them which players are habitually DC'ing (higher than avg DC count per games played) vs. players losing connection due to bugs ( avg or lower DC count per games played) but perhaps for some people the bugs are happening more frequently, and they don't want to do a ban wave until they have better tools (dedicated servers) for telling the difference with more accuracy. Either way, the "DC Epidemic" has us all feeling frustrated and put off of this game MORE than the games current bugs, mechanics, or dirty tactics ever has before, and the lack of action against it has left us feeling defeated and ignored.
My recommendation is to avoid using any good Blood Point boosting offerings (BPS, Cake, Pudding), Add-on's, or items (even during the upcoming blood hunt which will probably be a disaster due to the DC Epidemic), and either tough it out until the dedicated servers go live and the devs get this crap under control, or take a break from dbd until then... No one would blame you at this point.

No I really think the majority of that what you call a rage quit ist because of bugs. Of course there are some kids out there who are constantly disconnecting because the game goes not the way the want. but believe me more than 50% are bugs!
