Thanks Peanits, i wish this was more clear or mentioned when its announced.
This is basically 8:30 for us in Berlin.
This website is very helpful https://everytimezone.com/

Nice, 9:30 my time. Just before I get home.

@Peanits Wouldn't 00:00 UTC of the 2nd be 8pm est tonight? Wednesday?
It's the 1st right now going into the 2nd.
00:00 utc 2nd is just over 10 hours away.

In 10hours and 20m

@Peanits but that would be May 3rd no?...
Midnight May 2nd is 10 hours away. You're still describing 8pm Wednesday EST
8pm Thursday would be 00:00 UTC May 3rd

@IdeaJunkie Agreed this is super confusing.
The original post said 00:00 utc (midnight) may 2nd (about 10 hours from now)
Peanits says 8pm thursday est (34 hours from now) while also saying midnight utc without changing it from 2nd to 3rd?
??????

Wish it started earlier in the day. Oh well.

Only four days? 😭

@Guertena That's normal.
We might get 7 days again for Christmas if we are lucky.

Why don't you just do 11AM EST Thursday (like you always do)? That's a very friendly time for all time zones... Now it starts at 2am on friday for us in Europe... We basically miss a day of the bloodhunt because of this timing.

No it isn't. 8pm EST Thursday = 2am/02:00 midnight Berlin on Friday

I don't understand why people had/having issues understanding 00:00 UTC... Every single Double Bloodpoint they have thrown has always started at "startday 00:00 UTC" to "endday 00:00 UTC"..
I'm pretty sure they even released that with the event info, but I can understand not know when it starts if you didn't read the info, since it seems hard to find.. but..
All you need to do in the future is google "00:00 UTC to <whatever timezone you are in>" and google translates it for you.

Its confusing because when someone mentioned 00:00 UTC May 2, that is in less than 10 hours where as 00:00 UTC May 3 would be 8PM Thursday May 2 ET US. The confusion isn't the time in our time zones to UTC, the confusion is which friggin day is it starting. Haha

@TheBean Well, 0:00 UTC at the 2nd May is 10 hours from now. But it seems the devs meant that the event starts in 34 hours from now, so of course people are confused.

i'm gonna sit here and be like...

I actually wished that BHVR would just start the event when it became 3rd of May the first place on earth, which I believe is 00:00 AM Auckland New Zealand or Christmas Island?
and then the event should end when the monday ends for last time 24:00 on Baker Island is it?
I know it's probably a bit strange, but it gives everyone the same time to enjoy the event.
Put that on the wishlist for the future.

Thats not 8:30 for us in Berlin, it's 2 AM on ######### wednesday XD So it starts a day later for us

@Orion That's not what I am talking about.
Im talking about allowing full advantage across time zones, by starting the event with it becomes the Event day the first places on earth and ending the event the time it becomes the last second of the last day. Allowing maximum play time for everyone is every country.
