The insane meta-lore this game has.
I wanted to start his discussion by saying I was inspired by a video to right this. Although I cannot link/remember the video exactly, briefly explaining it; It was about survivors winning the game with wraith looking defeated at the end gate, then they all appear back at the campfire, the fog appears and a new survivor appears.
The moment I watched that video I realized something very big about the lore. Most of the lore is vague on most of the stuff but I remember reading/hearing something that the entity does not care about time, places, or even things.
So where is my point going? Well essentially all survivors have their own personal experiences, They have their first steps into the "trial" and hardly know what they are doing. Killer's are just doing their thing as always. Eventually survivors learn and adapt after being killed or surviving over and over again, and having a campfire to chat and discuss while going right back into the trial seemingly endlessly.
You can see that maybe even killers stop trying to kill all-together, even killers ca be curious on what happens if you let people live, or let them get free stuff from chests; or even giving them a hand. Ultimately though, killers will most likely revert back to their killing ways.
Again, what's my point in all of this?
Every new player experiences what the original survivor would of experienced, every new killer experiences new ways to kill, new ways to hunt. Until eventually they try and do everything possible; which is what most of the real characters would do in those situations.
The entity did not only pull all these people into these trials, he has essentially pulled us players into the trial; while being able to experience everything a real person might try to do in those situations. If you were really pulled into these trials, you yourselves might even tea bag the killer; out of frustration of always being pulled into the trial, as killer you might be merciful once in awhile for fun or to give survivors false hope; everything's in the realm of possibility that, we as the player can do; the real characters would have also thought of as well.
I think it's a neat idea that every new player's journey, is basically experiences and acting like what the real survivors would do; they barely know how to fix generators, they barely know any ways to escape the killer, but because every survivor essentially learns through time, just like new players; they overlap. How you think the survivors adapted in these endless world of trials, is how you were playing as them all along, same as killers.
-Sorry for long paragraph of probably non-sense, I do not think I articulated my point well, but in a TL:DR
Our experiences is correlated with the lore-version of the characters we play.

I actually have reason to agree heavily with this. You put it better then half of us ever could have.
