Mettle of Man is overwhelmingly bad for M1 killers
This perk truly makes me want to only play Nurse and Billy. I mostly play Killer, but I also play Survivor as well in the red ranks. M1 killers are truly suffering because of this perk, it really turns me off from playing any killer that doesn't have an instant-down ability.
Playing as Freddy, I managed to get a game with 4 survivors with MoM and DS. Needless to say, that wasn't a fun experience. Hitting 3 different survivors (who are wounded) where I previously would have been able to get kills from, instead now keep on running through those exit gates because of the invulnerability.
If BHVR really wants killer variety other than the "top 3" in the highest ranks, perhaps not making ridiculously broken perks like this that affect 85% of the killers on the roster would be a good start.

Because he shouldn't have to be limited to one of like 3 killers because bhvr decided to make a busted perk and it became meta. I have yet to play a game without a MoMy's boy since it was released.

Well, not all m1 killers.
Clown can counter it. It's funny to see how hard MoM users avoid his gas. They will give you free hits even.
Wraith has a hard time because he usualy only gets the first hit off his power. Cloaking in chase is a good way to lose the chase.
Trapper has traps. And we all know they are OP, and he is really the S tier killer of the game. ok, is he gone?
Doctor is taking sick days till he can figure out his MoM issues.
Pig Is like wraith, but she brings hats. And hats help.

Soon you'll be limited to only hillbilly since nurse's special attack will give MoM token with the next patch
devs are out of touch with ash, 2 of is perks are useless garbage and the third one is broken op and already became meta

@SmokePotion With the Wraith point, it depends on add-ons. The one that makes you faster when you're cloaked can be really good for chase, too. A lot of people don't expect you to cloak to catch up.
For the Doctor, does it count as a "power hit" if you shock them and immediately hit them after?

@fluffybunny it does count. at least im 85% sure you get a point bonus for it, and that's the trigger MoM is looking for. However, without add-ons his shock can be hard to hit, especially against decent survivors.
Since they nerfed him a while back, i was hoping they might buff the range on his shock therepy to make up for the fact it wont interrupt vaults anymore. It might not have been intended, but removing it definately hurt his ability to counter loops.

@SmokePotion Yeah, I played him a while back and it was really, really short. I remember that. I hope they do give him a buff down the road. I hope Wraith does, too! :D I'd love my Wraithy-boy getting a buff. x3 With so many killers, it feels necessary to have add-ons and I don't think it should be necessary.

That's not even close to the truth and hasn't been for a long time. Whiny Killer mains led to nonstop Survivor nerfs for all of the recent updates.

I main Spirit and my build (Save The Best For Last) counters it, but only if 1 survivor has it. The problem with perks like MoM is that there is no mechanism to prevent 4 survivors from stacking them. I can deal with 1 MoM, no problem. That person will get hooked last, I'll have 8 STBFL stacks, and everyone else will just die quicker. 2 or 3 MoM survivors? I have a problem, and survivors will be rewarded for being hit by me. The aura tracking typically doesn't matter by the time it comes into play.

Its been a month with largely negative feedback towards MoM. How can the devs NOT see a problem in this perk, which is essentially old Decisive strike, the most hated perk in the game.

@Weederick I think they are taking their time so they don't have another Freddy nerfed to the ground because of knee-jerk reactions again. I think they want to see how the community handles the perk before changing.
But I think after a month it's time to make some adjustments... throw exhaustion on there or something.... it's just a terribly thought out perk and should have never been introduced into the game as it currently is.

Knowing bhvr, they will take years before MoM gets even on the priority list. Sometime in 2021. I wish i would be joking, but if it doesnt get changed quickly, it wont get changed. Look at the long list of planned reworks since 2016. Its safe to assume, MoM is gonna stay the way it is for the next years. And that is reason to use the forums to give feedback to change this ######### perk

Yes i can agree on that. But it bothers me, that a month after release, there has been no plans and stances from the devs. Which usually means "plans abandoned, lets move on and never touch that again"

they have to milk some dollars before changing it, see DS as an example which took only 2 years to fix
