Hi Devs,
ever thought about a way for killers who don't like to face survs on the rank they play at to derank on purpose without having to dc or staying idle?
It actually makes me sick to play on rank one as a killer. I play for almost two years but can't play any of the top tier killers. I can't mindgame probably or moonwalk but still I always end up back in the red ranks after a reset. After almost two years it's enough for me. I just want to have fun while playing killer and not being stressed all the time.
I understood that you aren't able to make a ranking system that actually detect skill. So at least give players like me an option to leave the ranks we don't belong to.
Today I was so mad and full of anger after a lot of bad games in a row that I played exploit Legion with an ebony mori. A ranking system that works shouldn't force players to abuse bugs to get rid of their stress...
Play a killer you absolutely suck as and youll se the results in no time
This would just be heavily abused and end up with rank 20s getting absolutely bodied by experienced killers who just want easy kills instead of a fair game
@Theluckyboi That's not a solution to the issue at all. It still forces me to play unfun matches or just do something else while the survs finish the gens and leave. Also I'm not good at any killer. I just get black pips mostly and some times a pip. Between these I get bad survs who give me an easy match for double pips.

The system need fixed by means of a complete overhaul, ranking shouldnt be about how much time tou can plau a month but on many favtors which shiw skill.
They certainly wont implement a system to legit derank, imagine if a survivor asked the same question.
For now it is what it is, wait for rank reset, then play for blood points and make sure you don't rank up past where you are enjoying the matches.
@ClogWench So as I get abused at red ranks? feeling like a bot who only is in the game to give other players points and an ego boost seems pretty bad too...Also I never talked about being able to go back to twenty from 1. More like going back to 10-5. Or staying at a rank pool.
@twistedmonkey I know how to solve my issue in ways like that. But it's not a real solution. I play for points anyway and I need between 16-24h of play time to reach rank one after the reset. Seems quite impossible to play a whole month of killer with that amount hours.
In fact I get punished and excluded from a big part of the game only because I can rank up.
My point is that they CAN NOT implement a system like this because other players will abuse it. My only suggestion, with no intended rudeness, is to simply get better at the game, to a point you're on par with red rank survivors.
@ClogWench That's just no suggestion because as I told in my original post I'm playing for over two years. I know all mechanics, I know how to counter specific loops, I know how to manage the time I have in every round.
I'm just not able to adept further. I can't moonwalk it's impossible for me. I almost everytime mindgame wrong. Survs just do the opposite of what I expect them to do. As soon as I play against decent survs. I make like two to four hooks. No matter what Killer I play or which map. My whole fun in this game depends on how bad the survs play. I don't even care for kills it would be fine for me to at least feel like a thread a bit.
A lot of high rank players often forget that not everyone is capable o reaching their skill. Telling people to just get good is stupid and arrogant. It inflicts that the other person didn't put in enough effort in trying.
I tried for two years. Guess from now on I have to dc till I get banned. What a great way of stopping to play a game!
