The Plague needs some tweaks

First off: I like the concept. But the execution is sloppy. She currently has no map pressure at all. If you puke on someone it doesn't do anything to them, besides make them broken. This needs to change.

  • When a Survivor is infected, their action speed is reduced, starting at 10% up to 25% when fully broken. This would incentive Survivors to use the pools
  • When a Survivor uses a pool, he just gets unbroken and not fully healed. So healing would be a thing again
  • When holding the Purge (Vile & Corrupt), the slowdown needs to be removed. Slowing her down removes her pressure ability. Her add-ons should make her stronger and not trying to negate the slowdown penalty. Currently she is a looping victim. She can only truly bloodlust or hope the Survivor screws the loop up
  • When she aborts the Purge after holding it, the current slowdown is way too much. She is not only slowed down, but she can't use standard attack either. Slowdown needs to be reduced, but she should still be able to do a standard attack while in cooldown
  • Increase her bloodpoint gain. Compared to other Killers she is pretty weak in that regard
  • Remove reset of Corrupt Purge when getting stunned
  • Decrease terror radius from 32m to 24m - You can see from a mile away, since she is a walking tower

@not_Queen @Peanits please forward this to the team. Make her valid and strong, but not broken like Nurse.

    She is weak and needs buffs, but this might be a little too much.

    Just remove the heal on fountains and make the infection more penalizing so that survivors actually need to use the fountains. That might be accomplished with an action speed penalty but there's a few others as well. It needs something though.

    I think those changes wouldn't get her as strong as Spirit of course, but she'd at least be rank 1 viable then.

    Her bloodpoint gains are low as mentioned as well though. Her Brutality gain is very, very low and her hunter is slightly too low.

    I mostly agree to these suggestions, most of all removing the healing aspect of fountains. It's actually hindering her playstile alot; u can't wound survivors normally, u have to dedicate fully on the chase cuz otherwise they 'insta heal' on fountains instead of healing themselves. Some go as far to intentionally infect themselves to heal up... wich also works against survivors as they not get any altruism cuz they barely heal normally.

    Of course by using fountains u give her the chance to become a supriour huntress but first she's time restricted and second due the reset mechanic if all fountain are corrupted u may heal way more than she can dish out damage.


    Also as sidenote; i hate the Plague in concept as she's not living up to the big name of 'The Plague'. If i can spell my mind freely, her infection should cause all kind of debuffs like mangled, blind, exhaustion, even hindered and reduced action speed AT ONCE! It's the Plague we talking about, i don't mind giving her a movement to 110% debuff if i can enjoy applying all these nasty stats at once on my prey. And her corrupt vile should also still infect.

    Her spread mechanics are nice definitely, but let's face it; all what infection does is putting people in broken state... wich is honestly pretty underwhelming regardless the threat it poses, i prefer a Plague applying multiple ailments like a marbols bad breath of the FF series. Am i the only one here?
