As a survivor, are you looking forward to the EGC?
I am not, but I am wondering what other people that play survivor a fair amount think of it.

Now I can depip myself without survivors holding the game hostage as killer
as survivor I think it's an interesting mechanic, I'm all for it. Should make dramatic plays.

Guess I am the only one not looking forward to the altruism that will be lacking.
Especially with basement saves.

It's fun, i just hope they implement a Minimum Distance Between Gates so they arent on the same wall in very close proximity to each other

What's not too be excited for the EGC patch?
Killers get a useless 2 minute gtfo for survivors and survivors get an entire killer nerf patch in exchange.

@Mat_Sella what I badly need is a MAXIMUM distance between gates. With gates powered on horrbile maps like Léry's or Azarov's, it's a nightmare with my favourite killers like Clown or Doctor :(
I really don't understand: how am I supposed to properly kill those evil survivors in this situation?

I think it will be interesting, but I'm afraid it's more angled to the killers advantage?

We as killers can just throw the game and open the door as soon as the gen pops so you pesky survivors can't hold the game up too long trying to farm points.

I am curious to see it in action. Might bring back some of the thrill the game lost since I play a lot.

Will hopefully restore some fear factor, like Michael yanking you off a gen, or Hag traps, with Hillbilly on every killer game I play, it's constantly a "ah ######### here we go again".

Mostly, the EGC will have no effect on me when I play survivor. There have been some games, especially NOED games, where the time limit would probably have gotten me killed, because I had to sneak around the killer to make it to the exit gate unseen. Mostly, though, it'll mean I don't have to wait five minutes on tea-bagging teammates or watching a 20 minute hatch standoff to get to see the killer's loadout at the end screen.

I'm kinda torn, ps4 so haven't been able to play with it myself. As much as I'm looking forward to closing hatch as killer and ending hatch stand offs etc I'm kinda dreading nurse/billy with super close/same walls exit gates and being forced to open one. Wake up is going to be my new meta perk soon and going to be cleansing totems at the speed of light.

I agree, I have seen some horrible spawns where the Hatch is right between both Exit Gates and all three can be watched without moving. The Devs don't view this as a problem and said for now at least, they think it's a fair trade-off where some matches the exits will be far and some close. However they will revisit this if needed after EGC goes live. Imho there needs to be a minimum distance to avoid this scenario.
