Leaks and such - (hear me out admins)
This isn't a leak on the new killer etc...but my take on this whole thing where people do what they can to syphon information about new content.
I personally like the slow build with devs releasing videos, or photos or random stuff to instigate conversation, im not a fan of leaks really or..well spoilers essentially. just lost me 3 weeks of theorycrafting the next patch.
Now I know in this case this is DBD/Devs fault and they gone fked up ...so not fighting the community on this one. Would you rather a) Have it leaked or b) wait for official announcement with teasers?

Not sure what leaks are u talking about but like for example those sound leaks don't prove anything... It just makes for content for the creators and makes the community try to guess who it is and provide clues to why they might be x or y. Really it's not a bad thing... and then a teaser comes and it all just makes it better

The excitement is still there for me tho, I know I can't speak for everyone, if anything I'd say it intensified my excitement.
Fyi scream 4 movie pack on sale on ps4 for $14. I just picked it up over the weekend myself. My last copy of scream was on VHS.

Yea leaks aren't fun but when it happens and you try to censor it it never works out information spreads too quickly for it to be censored just let it spread at this point. They already put something out about it im pretty sure anyways.

BHVR should just go to LionsGate and then make it official. We already know who the new Killer is. Why bother hiding the information? Make the best out of the situation and increase the hype :)

If it's teased and then announced, i'll go: Oh, okay.

I know this is a little bit of my own opinion but the leaks make me think I will not have any hype for the next chapter the leak at the power and well I don't like licensed killers that much yea they're cool and all but some of the licensed killers seem to overlap in powers such as the leaked and Myers. I much prefer the killers they make more original and you have no idea what the power might be.

@LCGaster Me too man. I think in this particular occasion its all on BHVRs head and someone messed up but I do lke how they usually release content. I liked the Clown stuff the most, with the picture of the card and stuff

I don't like actual leaks like this one or Ash's perks... but love the speculation and all the posts, videos and discussions about the upcoming DLCs.

They messed up there licensed content two times in a row and should be glad that both of the license holders wanted to be part of the game and are pretty relaxed in general. They really need to take this leak serious and have to double check from now on when ever they're going to release a patch or PTB.

I personally don't mind leaks, I think the devs drag out the chapter reveals a bit too long in my opinion.

I think they could maybe add a few more tiny bits of leaks and stuff when they doing chapter reveals.

I'd prefer leaks. I hate surprises for the most part and leaks mean we can give feedback sooner.
The earlier in the process we can realize a fundamental flaw the sooner it can be fixed at least in theory.
In practice... MoM exists.
