I mean how many times have they "accidentally" leaked something?
Makes me think they're doing it on purpose.
Kinda ruins the whole hype thing whenever a new killer is supposed to come out.

They seem to have their PR statement out now on twitter and so the mods have relaxed a bit. But who knows, maybe these words will dissapear as well into the ether.

Leaking stuff is a business and marketing strategy. Ofc it could be on purpose, I wouldn't be suprised at all.

Who cares! I love it. It gets me hyped for the upcoming chapter. Id rather have some content information or leaks every few weeks to keep me hyped all the way till release than to just be bored and waiting for who knows what.

Maybe these leaks are intentional? Leaked content for popular games always seems to make the headlines faster than announced content, because everyone wants to beat others to the story. Also, I don't know how they can go from keeping stuff secret to leaking their next 2 DLCs, just like that.

I dont like it! They did it with ash now with ghostface! There is no hype... would prefer if they would announce it thru the forum or twitter. Short teaser few seconds whitout any perks or power description. Community will then comment and guess what could the power and perks be until release

Wrong, the hype comes after knowing a leak, and imagine you had 7€ left in steam, didn't know Ghost face would come out and you use the 7€ in other games. If you know it before, it can save your money to reserve it to dbd

Exactly what also kinda makes me believe that is look at the forums post above its almost like they are happy people know remember last time freddy got leaked behavior was upset about it but notice how chill they are about it i dont know man im not buying this whole "whoopsies we leaked the chapter"
