I have 2200 shards so i need to be talked into this.

Do you like it? Is it worth it?

I mainly play hag. I would do a ruin/sloppy/nurses c/ m&a.

Any strong feelings for m&a? thx

    Sold! I sure wasn't dissapointed by a nurse's calling (last week?) @Poweas

@53nation you'll have a ton of fun. I've heard it's quite good on Spirit too.

Monitor & Abuse combined with Nurses's calling is nasty and extremely deadly combination. You can see healing outside your terroradius. High mobility or sneaky killers (Nurse, Spirit, Pig, Myers) can really capitalise on that.

Short killers like hag, freddy and legion it's amazing, stealth killers like pig and mikey good. Definitely more so for me on the short ones though (you say you play hag, then you won't regret it), they're less likely to be able to compensate by paying attention.

Its amazing how close you can get to survivors beforr they notice you. I use M&A on many of my builds.

Sounds almost like it's the difference between approaching a gen and seeing scratch marks vs approaching and seeing 2-3 ppl flee. Sounds fun

Isn't it kinda bad though while phasing since decreased terror radius means that Survivors can hear you phasing from further away?

    M&A is amazing

It's a very good perk imo, low TR is always great for any killers and the better FOV helps at spotting people running around.

Personally i use it on almost all my killers unless i can't afford the slot at all, i need it otherwise i get motionsick after 2 games of killer.

Would you say it's worth running on new Legion? Cuz of that huge terror radius now.

I can't say if it's worth it as I haven't gotten to use it yet. I can say I'm looking forward to trying it out.

M&A with dead rabbit is amazing. Survivors won't notice you until you're right next to them XD

I love the perk, especially on my Legion before the nerf. Though I still run it on them anyways. The F.O.V is lovely.

    M&A is an awesome perk!

I run it on my plague since it allows her to surprise survivors to land some easy vile purge leading into broken and then downed survivors.

The perk is lethal on small terror radius killers, such as myers and hag

Its a good perk. Actually it works suprisingly well on the new legion. Freddy/Hag can make most use out of it, especially with tinkerer or discordance.

It's good on Myers, but that's it.

It absolutely is and i can't recommend M&A enough. It's almost always amazing, and when it wasn't i still didn't regret having it. I personally have a hard time finding reasons to not use it in any build.

M&A is most definitely one of my favorite perks. That little extra distance you can get closer to survivors before they scatter makes a difference. Especially for killers like hag.

@blue4zion you changed your psn name but not forum!

Imo Monitor and Abuse is easily one of the best killer perks available. You won't always see it working but it can really make getting that first hit easier. Especially fun on Leatherface as of it lets you get within chainsaw range faster.

  • Zarathos

Its one of the most fun perks in the game. it can even work with doc using his ninja build. Its a perk you often using with killers who have built in anti loop or are hit and run.

  • Chicagopimp2019

Oh god yes. One of my favorite perks on any killer.

  • jordirex

On killers with low tier radius is good. On Hag is really good.

It's useless on Huntress and Freddy

Can work on nurse and billy ( good combo with higher chainsaw movement speed addons)

I say it depends on killer if you run a killer like wraith I would go with shadowborn since he is already weak to flashlights an tr is not much an issue for him but all the others definitely need m&a

M&A in my opinion is a top tier killer perk.

Great perk on low terror radius killers. Amazing on Hag and Myers...it’s only really useful on Spirit if you use Prayer Beads (please don’t use them) otherwise she benefits more from Distressing.

It can also give low mobility killers like Clown and Leatherface a better chance at catching immersed players.

Billy can also heavily benefit from M&A.

also I think I tried once for like 10 seconds but I couldn't figure out how to change the name on here.

Not as much as before but still good, because you can compensate your short hight with it a bit and you have extra Killer instinct radius during a chase.

    LapisInfernalis Member Posts: 4,218

I love M&A. For me the standard perk on Myers, but also great on Hag, Freddy, Legion and Spirit. Provides a fun build with Doc using M&A, TOTH, Any Hex, Discordance with the tape that gives you the 20m beam and the electrode (green).

Totally worth it specially on 24 meter TR killers

Also dont forget the improved field of view, good against those survivors who like to crouch juke you

    se05239 Member Posts: 3,919

I've seen MnA do wonders on your average 32 meter TR killers, as the reduced TR means survivors cannot get as far as away as they normally would. Not to mention I've seen survivors "stealth away" right into the killer's arms because they couldn't quite tell where he was.

  • EleaticStranger

I just started using it on pig. It actually makes a huge difference. Her standard terror radius of 32m is usually just a bit too large to approach survivors on a gen and get a clean hit with her Ambush attack before a chase can begin. Reducing the terror radius to 24m basically saves a lot of time in chases. Also, combined with the add on Amanda's Letter, which allows pig to see survivors at 12m, the Ambush attack is pretty much inescapable.

Funny how it's a Doctor perk and he's like the only killer that doesn't benefit from it much, because you generally don't chase in treatment mode. I prefer a "my terror radius is half the map and you can't tell if I'm nearby or far away" build.

Hag already has a short terror radius, so makong it even shorter makes her very sneaky

Amazing for Hag, Nurse, and Spirit, and is used on Myers almost universally.

An argument could be made for it being good on Huntress; while it doesn't affect her hum (22-45 meters?), it will affect her minimized terror radius, so you could pop up on people a bit easier. They will stop hearing the hum, and not immediately hear the terror radius.

  • MegMain98
    MegMain98 Member Posts: 2,919

I don’t see how it is good on Spirit. You don’t want a smaller terror radius. She has no reason to sneak up on survivors. Not to mention that they can more easily hear your whooshing since her terror radius is so smaller. I find Distressing better on her since it’ll confuse survivors more often than M&A would. I wouldn’t use either though.

    M&A + A Nurse's Calling.

She can spot people closer and phase to them with less of a warning. Comparatively, this is easier to setup due to the husk retaining the TR. It makes her harder to predict.
