Plague gets to see where you are after you heal, and she can then get a powerful ranged attack. I'll admit she could use a slight buff but the fountains are fine

People barely cleanse against plague as it is, getting rid of the insta heal will just make even less people cleanse.

It's a pretty fair trade off anyway since cleansing gives the plague such a powerful ability. Just buff her movement speed while holding her vomit like she was in the PTB and she would be a lot better.

The fountain did not heal my broken + health status right after deliverance.........................

Being sick should cause an actual debuff beyond broken. Something to actually force survivors to cleanse it.

The fountain should cleanse plague and broken.

But the plague needs to be buffed where survivors WANT to cleanse AND its effects are worthy of survivors getting instant heals in exchange. Because with the fountain not only is Nurse’s useless on Plague but survivors completely bypass the healing time that keeps them preoccupied from gens.

Right now the plague is laughably weak and is essentially just green sfx.

When a fountain is used to cure sickness it becomes corrupt, and thus visible to the Plague. Might not be pinpoint aura reading but it does give you a solid idea where the survivor is.

    No, you can't.

It doesn't reveal what fountain was used. You only get a noise notification, not a visual, nothing. You have to guess where they cleansed and hope to God it's the right fountain to get your Corrupt Purge.

If there wasn't a white fountain aura in one corner of the map and now there is, suddenly you know. If you're playing Plague regularly you'll learn to be more aware of where there is and isn't corrupted fountains so you can more easily notice where one becomes corrupted.

I knew you were going to say that.

And you'd be right! If you weren't lazily standing in a corner waiting minutes for someone to cleanse.

Or mid-chase, or breaking a pallet, or heading over to a gen that's almost finished.

Action speeds should be slowed since survivors are sick and puking everywhere.

Should slow everything, gens, totems, healing, sabo, chests.

(Like thanatophobia should slow everything as well)

It's beneficial if you notice it in a chase, or if you notice it between chases. Playing Plague well requires a lot of situational awareness. I'm not saying it's the best means of tracking but a skilled and observant killer CAN use it to their advantage and it'd be a very powerful tool if the cured survivor was left injured.

But they aren't left Injured, so being enough skilled and observant to notice what fountain has just been used doesn't help you.

Unless you want to immediately stop whatever you're doing, walk halfway across the map, get your power, and then tunnel a fully healed Survivor while all the other Survivors do generators, there's no point in paying attention to what fountain gets used.

Just keep track of the closest usable fountain so that you waste as little time as possible charging your power.

That's what I'm saying. It's not a huge benefit right now because they're healed fully. If they weren't, as OP is suggesting, it would make it a SIGNIFICANTLY stronger factor

I've always found it a little weird how I could get unhooked and just insta-heal at a fountain. I think it would make more sense if you just cured your sickness but stayed injured and then to make it fair, either a completely random fountain becomes corrupt, so the killer can't just come straight to your location, or, there's a delay in the alert appearing, so it gives you time to get out of the area you cleansed in.

The fact that the Pools of Devotion fully heal survivors is not the core of the Plague's problems since the optimal strategy against her is to never use the Pools anyway. Not until the very end of the game after all gens are done.

The Plague need some tweaking. There need to be some kind of tangible threat to Vile Purge so the survivors might want to risk giving the Plague her Corrupt Purge.

Maybe the Hindered effect for a survivor broken by the sickness? Aim her to be a bit harder to break someone with but being broken has far bigger consequences. Hindered, slower action speeds maybe

Many survivors already don't use the fountains to heal. If you remove the instant heal nobody will use them as it gives the killer their ranged power. Plague would become the worst killer in DBD after a few weeks of all survivors beginning to adapt.

Because the Corrupt Purge is already enough badass as hell. If anyone in the game cleanses himself the whole team gets screwed. if it wont heal you the CP had to be nerfed very hard.

I'm guessing it's because Broken is a status condition that remains as long as you are at max sickness. When the game detects you are no longer sick, Broken would normally disappear because the thing originally causing it (max sickness) is no longer there.

But if you also recently used Deliverance to escape from a hook, the game will still see that that perk is giving you Broken for X seconds, so removing the sickness from you doesn't clear the Broken status from you.

@jus_Ignant I agree. It would help give incentive for people to cleanse.

Hindered would be too strong and its allready the clown's thing.

Exhausted could work though and would make sense thematicly. The status would be removed instantly by the Pools too.
