Endgame door locations are absolutely broken

The door locations should have changed for endgame collapse. Does it really make sense if the doors spawn right next to each other? Might as well let the killer just kill you and be done with it. 4 of last 5 EGC matches ended with the doors being so close to one another that the killer could see any door progress without moving. Survivors spend so much time doing the objectives only to have no chance in the end. In my opinion, this needs fixing. No strategy involved in this whatsoever.

Thank you muchly. I'm new to the forums and didn't read as much as I should have. I'm glad someone else has also recognized the issue. Appreciate it a lot.

They aren't going to change it. They have stated this on stream. The door spawns are RNG.

I could cry and complain because I had a match today where the doors were very far apart...

But I'm not whining. Because sometimes they are close together. It's whatever.

    The doors are fine.

Nobody is crying and complaining. If everyone is going to accuse others of crying and complaining, there wouldn't be any constructive criticism. So stop with the nonsense crutch of just accusing people of crying and start working with people on solutions. It is absolutely an issue. I've even heard it from killers in matches. Our last trapper killer even made a note that the match was way too easy in the EGC becase the doors were right next to each other, he was even kind enough to apologize for it, haha. To hell with RNG. Let's give everyone a chance. The killers chance in the endgame is closing the hatch, after that, the survivor should have a shot at getting out. Can't be one-sided.

The only issue i have with doors is when they are very close, it makes it unwinnable when there's 1 surv left and the hatch got closed, i got a match where i could just watch the claud do nothing until she died because i could just prevent her from opening each doors by just being near her.

I'm guessing maybe it's supposed to be like that, i just feel like ######### when it happens tho, i might start not closing the hatch because of it.

If the Killer closes the hactch or opens the eggzit gate himself, the Exit Gates should be 99%.

Yes, but when I get it as a killer main it feels like it was handed to me on a silver plater. Literally the most boring End Game for killers that actually want a fair solution.

The issue he's trying to bring up it is that it's a two-way street

As a killer I've had games where the exit Gates were on the opposite side of the map basically meaning I had to travel on long distance to check them making the survivor's escape easy.

To mention if you get the treatment centre or the game the gates are going to be guaranteed to be on opposite sides meaning if the survivor manages to pick the one that you're currently not searching their escape is pretty much guaranteed.

@Gopher Lesson number one on these forums, don't worry about responding to the childish comments. This forum is filled with azzhats that discriminate constantly vs survivor or killer. @Dwight_Confusion is an example. You bring up a legit issue, and he accuses you of crying and whining. Ignore it or you will drive yourself nuts.

As for the issue, I doubt it will be fixed. I was able to sit with Trapper and watch both gates in a match earlier. They stood no chance. I eventually walked away because it was boring.

It is one of the many flaws in the game.

As I stated above it could very easily be a two-way street and the killer could be screwed if the exit gate spawn too far away from each other.

The only way I could even possibly see this being fixed is if they had a minimum and a maximum spawn distance however some killers with hypermobility will still be able to very easily which both ends whilst Killers without will still have a lot of trouble.

Infect as a survivor I've pretty much realise that simply when I the last one left just camping an exit until he gets powers is a lot more efficient than going to look for hatch then trying to open an exit gate when The Killers already patrolling

Sometimes the gates spawn where it is in favor of the killer. Other times, it spawns in favor of the survivor. Then you have two maps that the gates are permanently set on opposite ends, which favors the survivor. It is simply a matter of you win some, you lose some.

The thing is though is that the killer doesn't have to walk right up to the gate to see if it's being opened. There is red light indicators on the doors that show any progress. The killer only needs to walk halfway between doors to see this. He doesn't have to walk the entire length of the map. They should have a minimum distance, such as 64 meters. The killers chance was closing the hatch. He shouldn't have a cakewalk catching the survivor because the doors were an arms length away from each other. I feel like the developers fixed one issue just to bring on a more frustrating issue. I hated hatch standoffs, but this just doesn't work either. Instead of hatch standoffs, they should have had the hatch respawn in a new location every 30 seconds, so both killer and survivor are constantly trying to find it first. That would be fun.

The fix is simple, include a minimum and maximum distance between gates. They've done that for pallet #'s and hook distances, I'm sure if this becomes a big enough issue, they'll do the same for this.

I'm going to see this again I have said this on numerous posts but the survivor has lost the match.

It should be very difficult to escape and can we please stop using the word impossible because I've seen multiple people escape against nurses and Billy boi two Killers who have the prime advantage even if the gates are across map.

This is an asymmetric game the survivors true power lies in their numbers the second you take that away it is going to be very difficult to win that's the point.

Before the killer was stuck in a situation where they didn't have much power hatch standoff was always in the survivors favour this was ludicrous especially when it came to a situation where the killer had done their job successfully whilst the survivor had not.

Now compare this to what would have happened if all 4 survivors well live when the exit were powered and they were opened if the killer didn't have any game perks like noed blood warden or remember me their jobs were incredibly difficult.

Now the field is more balanced whoever finds the hatch first wins but even if the killer closes it does survivors still have a chance.

However of course it's going to be difficult because you've already messed up two escape opportunities.

It seems like if survivors don't have a super easy chance of escaping it's a bad system

Why is it bad the hatch standoff was slightly in the survivors favor? That didn't guarantee the survivor getting out. First the survivor had to find the hatch and not be found by the killer first, which happened a lot. Then they had to time jumping in just right or they could be pulled out.

If a survivor makes it to end and there's a hatch standoff then they deserved the chance to escape. They were the LAST survivor. The killer slaughtered their team and got 3 kills. Now the killer is almost promised a 4k except in very rare situations. It's not fair because once the hatch is closed the survivor has to power a gate. Killers are much faster than survivors. Spirit, billy, nurse, wraith, and legion (might be missing some) can get across a map in the blink of an eye. Michael is also fast and he can stare at you then one hit you down and so can anyone that has NOED (which is just ridiculous in an end game situation now). Killers don't even have to go all the way to a gate to see if its even been touched. There are bright red lights that they can see halfway across the map since there's rarely anything to obstruct the view.

Killers are now being handed survivor kills on diamond encrusted platters. I've played a lot of games and I've seen only one person escape end game and that was because they picked a key up from the ground that their mori'd teammate had.

The last survivor struggled to make it to the end. Nothing about it was easy. They deserve more of a chance then End game gives them.

Too difficult would be if the killer opened a gate, it automatically closed the hatch. So it could be worse.

If you were the last survivor then nothing about the match was super easy. Everyone died and the LAST survivor managed to make it to the end. They deserve better than a nearly guaranteed loss because gates are too close, killers too fast, and there are no obstacles to obscure the red lights that killers can see on gates from halfway across the map. If you think making it to the end to be last survivor was easy, then you're being ridiculous. Their team just got slaughtered and the killer already has 3 kills. Now the game basically promises 4.

If they reworked Left Behind to work on exit gates (no point to doing gens since the hatch spawns regardless), it could solve the 1v1 end game scenario. I have yet to have a survivor escape after the hatch is closed.
