Ps4 issues since Patch?
This could very well be the amount of players flooding the servers out of excitement for the update but has anyone else noticed way more FPS issues and more choppy graphics? My first game as killer was at 9:30 am Eastern US. I have spectacular internet and all four survivors had good connection as well. The map we got was 'Red Forest' and right from the get go it looked darker than normal. I was playing Hillbilly so I rev my chainsaw and begin my hunt. I've had the game since October of last year and Red Forest has always been choppy but today was on a new level. It was almost unbearable. Delayed animations, weird moments where I'd be walking up the stairs of the cabin in the middle and I'd slow down to almost being stuck on nothing. I don't know if this is server related, update related, or billy on that map since the update. Running with the chainsaw let alone trying to down a survivor up close with it was absolutely horrible. Please understand that I'm not trying to complain I just want to know if anyone else has experienced this with any killer/ survivor on any map since the update. I heard Xbox 1 was a nightmare since update so maybe ps4 is suffering too?

Yep, they broke it more. Are you surprised?

I've had a couple cases where I throw the pallet down and it stuns the killer on the other side, but they clip through it. I thought that it might've been a glitch but I'm not sure. The servers were down for a while after the update as well. As for the other problems you've listed, I haven't come across any of them.

Anyone else having this issue, I thought it was like a controller issue.

All these complaints are valid.
I too am experience some frame drops. I'd say I'm running 5 fps lower than normal
Which is a big deal when you barely hit 30.
I don't know what happened? It's playable, but very much not optimal at all. I like how some maps are a bit darker, but I really want this game to run at 30fps.
Survivor isn't as bad as killer. Survivor is mostly normal for me in FPS, killer takes the hit.

Thanks to everyone who has replied! I've played some more matches since I wrote this post and I have more to add. Once again I can't be sure if this is server related or whatever but playing Myers on Autohaven was another choppy mess. Not as bad as Billy on Red Forest however in this game I clearly noticed hit boxes being extremely out of whack/ you cannot pull someone off a generator. I crept up on a Dwight and Claudette both working on the gen. The Dwight was closer so I aimed to grab him. I was literally right behind the Dwight...he has no clue. I watch the screen literally clip to above dwights head to try and swing at the Claudette who sprint bursted. Obviously missed the swing, Dwight gets away. As the game went on I noticed even more hit box detection issues. Why in the hell am I smacking the littlest corner of a wall when the survivor is right there? It's almost like when you lunge your killer will decide its more efficient to lock onto the tops of tires or some other garbage. As I've stated before I've noticed these things happening way before the update. They were bearable however. They weren't nearly as frequent. They were even more explainable in my own mind most of the time like "Ok, I lunged to early or I didn't turn the analog stick right.." Now it's like "Why is my killer hitting the wall to the right of a window instead of hitting the survivor literally hopping out of it?"

I made a post about this back in the technical issues section. FPS as a killer is a horrid ######### show right now, frames dipping as low as 10-15 FPS, jerky camera and sort freezes/pauses during chases. Almost impossible to play and do well. Before the patch the game was very nice and smooth for me on my PS4 Pro but now I just don't want to even play.

I agree playing survivor was relatively normal gameplay but Killer is worse than before.

I can 100% agree with you however about the camera being "Jerky" when you look around as any killer. You had the words I couldn't find to describe what I've been experiencing today. The freezes during chases are real. It feels like your controller just craps out for 2.3 seconds mid chase.

Maybe the Hillbilly got tired. Y'know... running with a chainsaw is exhausting.0

Yes, I have encountered numerous games where the killer which switch sides of a pallet stun after stun animation. Couple that with FPS issues and the game becomes scary as hell. Killer and survivors be popping out of nowhere.
