What if the entity prevented somehow killer's facecamping?
Today got heavily facecamped by a childish Spirit... so why shouldn't I DC??
wouldn't be less complaints if the entity prevented facecamping and more balanced?
is this THAT hard to implement? b*tch please......

That just means everyone gets rescued risk free. No, as frustrating as it is to be camped it's not something that can be removed. Plus DCing is worse than staying on the hook tbh

If they change how end game hooks work then sure but as it is now, Camping or patrolling a hook when the gates are open is the only way to secure that kill due to adrenaline, bodyblocking and all the second chance perks.

Because disconnecting for such reasons is not why they implemented it?
And camping is specifically stated to be allowed?

there are complex mechanisms to prevent facecamping
how about the entity adds a timer to the killer the longer is facecamping, and stuns him/her after a certain range???

The killer is literally already punished for facecamping though. 3 other survivors can finish gens while the killer is occupied making smores. Not to mention punishing camping would immediately encourage hook swarming because the killer can't guard from it without being punished.

what if one survivor just stayed near the hook ready to rescue, and 2 others worked on gens? is the killer meant to leave the hook and allow the free escapes each time, or should the killer stay with the survivor he knows is at the hook
But then, if he stays targeting a survivor, he is punished for staying near the hook and then theyre allowed a free rescue regardless?
they used to have a system aimed at preventing facecamping, but survivors abused it by always taking the killer and making him stay near the hook

this is for definite not true. When i first played the game, I facecamped because i expected survivors to come to the hook, as soon as I learnt that they didnt do that always, i changed tacticts and only facecamp at times where its appropriate

No one's saying it's enjoyable, we're saying you can't punish the killer for being close to the hook because it's so easy to exploit. Suddenly survivors can loop you near a hook, suddenly survivors can hookswarm without any risk. Suddenly the killer can't be anywhere near the basement, effectively making it a free save area instead of the most dangerous place in the map.

Yeah we'll implement that when they also implement the entity blocking a gen every 25% so the survivors can't gen rush and to make them keep moving to a different one.

The entity prevents Face camping by allowing survivors to unhook from every direction (swivel hooks).

A lot of people misunderstand/don't realize what facecamping used to be.
For reference to anyone who doesn't know, you used to be able to stand in front of a survivor on the hook and completely deny the ability to unhook them because you could only unhook from directly in front.
It also made Trapper broken because he could trap directly in front of you

Endgame is pretty balanced right now honestly. And slugging for the 4k has significantly dropped off too. But survivors never notice the positives.
