Buff Trapper already
I mean his power is deleted by holding m1 for few seconds.
Why do you have to pick up your traps?
Why not carry like 10 traps ready to be set up? Why do you have to search for your traps across the map? Why not make him similar to Huntress where you refill your traps at a locker ?
Why let survivors escape from your traps? It's dumb.
I really love this killer but he needs a few buffs at least.

Everyone knows that Trapper needs a few Buff's. But everyone already has Trapper for free.
So how does fixing Trapper make them money?
Money is all this team cares about.

It's impossible to balance the game. As you said before everyone has trapper for free. As killer I never kill anyone, I enjoy myself a lot and give survs a very good game. I have thousands of hours playing this game, so when I play against lvl 15-20 survs I can see then poor balance of this game for new survs. If you're a low level surv, Barbacue is like impossible to beat. Same as NOED or even Hex Ruin. If you buff killers new survs will never play this game, because will be 4k always.

Not a huge buff, just make him somewhat playable.
What I suggested is not game breaking nor op. It's how the Trapper should've been when first released.

So why do you think the dying state addons are red and purple? I will tell you: cause its too powerful for basekit.

Minimum bear trap size = Survivor Hitbox
Maximum bear trap size = 1,25 Pallets
Minimum Range < bear traps connect with objects wall < Maximum Range

Hide the bear traps like the right example

Actually, very rare & ultra rare addons aren't always super powerful.
A lot of killers have very weak ultra rare addons as for example, pig, legion & wraith have at least one weak ultra rare addon. In addition to this, very rares are usually actually fair like in the case of Wraith or absurdly strong like in the case of Spirit.
Why is this? Because it comes down to the power, just because it's of a certain rarity does not mean it's too powerful unless the addons modify an already good power by an insane amount.
Trapper's power for instance isn't actually that great because the beartraps are super visible, can be disarmed, totally avoided with dead hard or the Trapper can even step in his own trap. Now, I wouldn't advocate for instadown traps but I do think it's only fair to allow Trapper to spawn with all of his traps especially considering how Hag who is objectively a better killer gets to spawn with all of her traps.

I think having them lying around the way they are is fine. Here are what I think needs to change
- Bear traps can be set from the ground without picking them up; not being able to feels like an oversight bug more than intended gameplay
- bear traps have a wider area of effect; if I place it under a pallet, I should not see survivors able to walk past the pallet without triggering the traps (it's happened a couple times because the hitbox is an oval)
- bear traps can be placed more leniently; if I wanna take the time to lie 3 traps across a gate to block it completely, I should be able to. The hag can do it in like 4 seconds, and she can *block* the door if she uses an addon.
- setting beartraps is slightly quicker

That would pretty much fix him... My only other suggestion would be base trapper can hold up to two traps and starts the game with two traps. Refill his trap inventory by using lockers... Having to hunt the map for his traps wastes so much time it's ridiculous.

If they buff Trapper, people will want to buy more of their content and cosmetics. No one wants to buy cosmetics for a character who's getting nerfed, except Pig, they made cosmetics so people will actually play her.

If trapper becomes more viable he'll be played more. If he's played more people will want his cosmetics. That's how you make money.

I would like to see two things changed about traps;
1. Traps can down an injured survivor
2. Only sabotage and team buffering can allow you to bypass a trap.

I think Trapper is fine, he just needs to be able to carry 2 traps as a baseline (not start with 2, just to carry more than one). Without any sack addon trapper is hindered a lot. You either place traps where you found them or waste too much time carrying them to more desireable spots.

His base kit needs buffs but he's not a terrible Killer if you know what you're doing.

His base kit needs such huge buffs. You could literally give him both of his ultra rare addons as part of his base kit and he would still only be upper mid tier, that's how bad he is.

Give our poster boi some love! Iridescent stone should be built in but of course change how long it takes for them to reset in order to keep the actual add on useful. Iridescent stone should affect how fast they reset.
