Balance/QOL Ideas
While I am satisfied with the game in it's current state, I do believe there are a few things that need to be changed or added. Below is a list of some ideas I came up with to improve certain aspects of the game.
- Either revert the time to open exit gates back down to 15 seconds or give the perk Left Behind some sort of functionality during the EGC (Maybe slow the timer down if you're being chased and you're the last person alive). Currently, if the hatch is closed when you are the last survivor alive, it is very difficult to get the exit gates open without being found.
- Give Plague the ability to see items and objects she has vomited on with a green aura.
- Reverse the effects of the Discordance tiers. Currently, Discordance tier 1 is better than tier 3 because the aura updates quicker (For example, say Discordance goes off and you have it in tier 3, it will take you 12 seconds to find out whether multiple people are still working on the generator rather than 8 seconds if you had the perk in tier 1).
- Give Trapper the ability to reset his traps without picking them up.
- Increase Legion's vault speed (Doesn't have to be as fast as before, but just a little faster).
- Add a counter stating how many totems are left on the map.
- Allow Dark Devotion to be activated with Legion's Frenzy Attacks and Nurse's Lethal Blinks.
- Allow Beast of Prey to be activated manually.
- Let survivors use flashlights to reveal The Spirit and burn her out of her phase walk (Flashlight has to be on the Spirit herself, not her husk).
- Allow Solidarity to show your healing progression on top of your teammate's.
- Increase Boil Over's "obscure hook auras" radius.
- Decrease Diversion's cooldown.
- Increase the amount of tokens that Stake Out is able to receive.
- Give Distortion the ability to also work on survivors near you (Such as perks like Leader or Streetwise).
- Give No Mither a bloodpoint bonus.
- Allow Unrelenting to take effect when hitting a wall.
Feedback is highly appreciated! Keep in mind, I purposefully did not go into anything like meta perk reworks or entire gameplay changes. If I missed anything, let me know!

the last survivor is meant to have a hard time
the plague seeing an aura when she vomits on things would allow her to know anytime a broken person touched anything, kind of insane
would love for trapper daddy to be able to "kick" traps into set position

If I'm understanding correctly, do you mean the survivors infecting objects or the Plague? If you mean the survivors infecting objects, then their auras wont be highlighted. I meant for the objects to only be highlighted if the Plague directly infects them.

i meant when a survivor is sick and gets to the broken state everything they interact with reacts the same way as when plague vomits on it
but anyway would this really be helpful (with your actual meaning not what i thought you meant) the object vomit only lasts 20 seconds, are you really gonna forget what you vomitted on before 20 seconds?

Hmm, I always thought it lasted longer. You do have a point though, I guess it would be more of a visual thing than something that actually benefits gameplay.

Gates should be more far away and timer should be 3 minutes + activated after gates are powered.
This way it's balanced in my opinion.
Also NOED should be basekit to put pressure on survivors (totems)
