Disabling noed in the egc when there is ONE survivor left is the only acceptable nerf
And I would say that’s more than fair considering the survivor is already at a disadvantage with hatch closed, and depending how the game went, nearly impossible to cleanse all totems - let alone trying to find the noed before opening a gate.
Otherwise noed is perfectly fine.

And I would say breaking the totems as early as possible is a better alternative than having an easy way out programmed in. That's just punishing a killer's perk choice because your in a tough situation.

I don’t necessarily think it’s punishing killer perk choice when the killer already killed 3/4 survivors with gens still up. The killer has essentially got it in the bag after closing the hatch and finding the survivor. It just won’t be as cheap.
And if I recall correctly, noed explicitly states after the gens are completed, which this scenario would not be the case.

Just find somewhere nice, preferably with a good view and die with dignity.

I won't disagree that activation should be better specified, but killer perks should only be denied by player actions not because they have surmounted to much control.

Sure thing, I can still Wraith-bait the Hatch with this nerf.

I doubt that this would make any difference. Once the last Survivor is found when Hatch is closed, he is dead. No matter if the Killer needs one Hit or two hits or simply runs the Survivor around for a little bit less than 2 minutes.

Agreed no one escapes death or not if you get found your pretty much dead.
Considering the killer doesn't even have to hit you they could basically just follow you around nodding yeah I'm not sure disabling no way it would have any impact whatsoever in fact with no one escapes death you probably might just get it over with quicker.

I'm fine with that idea. I never use NOED as killer and it's just annoying to verse that non skill perk as survivor.

Noed usually is fine though because it’s PUNISHING SURVIVORS IGNORING TOTEMS. You didn’t do them and just humped gens? Well tough, killer got you fair and square.
HOWEVER, in the case of last survivor egc where killer kills everyone and closes the hatch, THE KILLER is the one to initiate the endgame NOT THE SURVIVOR. Therefore it’s a bit unfair to activate noed against the sole survivor, particularly when they didn’t activate it themselves from greed or laziness nor did they progress with gens. It’s also a bit unsportsmanlike in this particular circumstance because the survivor had no chance to prepare against it nor would their fate change unless you showed mercy anyway.

What if the survivor camp the door until the killer close the hatch and open it and as soon it is open the killer hit the survivor and they lose because of it?
Happened to me and i claim bs on this

It doesn't matter who starts the egc, fact is the game arrives there by 1 of the 2 sides actions. And whether the survivor had all 5 gens or were cut down quickly, the entire match regardless of how long it lasts is the time granted to prepare for whatever awaits you in the egc. I would assume that noeds activation is the result of Dev's forcing gen completion to power gates, the perk is most likely tied to this than the actual completion of gen 5. In this instance I would say its the method in which it ques that is the problem, not the use of the perk.

Be less bad and cleanse totems before being dead silly survivors

MoM, Adrenaline/Balanced Landing/Sprint Burst/Lithe
yep, very skilful SV perks

This would also open up the possibility for the other survivors to escape through an open gate, leaving the last guy alive immune to NOED. Rationally speaking, if the killer sees them and gets to them before they open the gate in a 1v1 scenario where the hatch is already closed, they're pretty much dead. It won't make a difference if that happens in one hit or two, they're still dead. Even if they stall for a whole two minutes, they're still dead. At that point the survivor lost, with or without NOED.
