Killer skip day
We as killers haven't gotten a chance to show survivors what it means to be a killer, I suggest as a community one or two days we just not play, this would force survivors to play as killer for these extended periods of time where they a see first hand the toxicity of survivors, and what we mean when we talk about all their second chance perks.

Dunno about you but I play both, the best way to defeat your enemy is to become them.

Yea I don't like the idea of becoming a sweaty 10million chance toxic survivor
3 -
I already didn't play today.
Was busy making a good Dark Souls 2 character.
7 -
This. I learned to play as certain killers by playing against them, or to play as survivor by being killer.
2 -
You should play both sides. Not only will it help you understand both sides (how to counter and where they're coming from), but it can be a good change of pace.
7 -
I already play 50/50 why would I stop playing killer for a day only playing 50% of the game seems dumb to me as well as the fact of the matter is should you really be giving feedback while only playing one side?
6 -
And do you ever play survivor?
3 -
And this is why you will never become a better killer.
6 -
Lol survive mains jumping to conclusions never once said I don't play survivor I actually play plenty of survivor and make it out quite often without the help of the second chance perks to need them is to admit you are
A. Toxic
B. Suck at the game
Take your pick
3 -
How did it go?

I dont play at all last time i play in weekend 4 games just make dayli quest and i dont plan play at all for who know how long. After 1200h you know this game devs and every trick...

Then why are you on here whining? Every time a survivor main or killer main gets on here its to whine.
Just nut up and admit it.
2 -
As a survivor main I actually think that playing killer is refreshing and can be a lot more fun.
Let's not divide the community even further 😥

Then you won't become a better killer.

I'm in Playthrough 5 now.
They scaled the damage you deal well, but all DS games insist on 2/3-shotting you once you get to the 3rd playthrough.
It's going well, but only because there's no longer an incentive to fight normal enemies.

So... In order to become a better killer, I have to become a toxic survivor with DS, Metal, borrowed, and balanced/lithe? No I prefer to put some level of skill in my survivor and use a different build

GAAHHH!
Killers trying to be survivors... survivors trying to be killers... what is this world coming too!

BT counter - Always go after the unhooker.
DS counter - no longer a toxic perk. It's an anti tunnel perk, so, don't tunnel if you don't need to.
Lithe - How is this a crutch perk? Or a second chance perk? Explain, thanks.
Balanced Landing - ^
You're welcome.
1 -
I play both. Why is everyone so mad?
1 -
It isn't but running either with the other second chance perks and all survivors on the team running that same build becomes beyond toxic
0 -
Also, have to point out all members running these perks equals one to unhook then they loop you for at least 30s that means one gen done per hook each survivor has 2-3 hooks per which means no matter how you splice it that swf team gets every member out unless you tunnel or down but if you down they focus purely on gens then you get no hooks and survs get out makes sense right?

When you talk about jumping to conclusions then you call everyone you quoted a survivor main *shrug* Are you also saying that everyone you quoted uses second chance perks? Well I mean I guess you could say using No Mither and OoO are second chance perks but idk
2 -
Lol survive mains jumping to conclusions
Who's the one jumping to conclusions? What rank are you and do you play solo? And the thought behind using perks is to understand them. If you want to better understand a counter to a killer or a perk they use, you play as the killer to better understand them or use a perk to see what people do in response to it. Experimenting also helps. See what works and what doesn't.

No mither doesn't even count for that as it puts you in a bad way from the start no killer would ever leave a no mither survivor on the ground as far as "second chance" perks go it is the most easily countered and removed, why anyone brings it is a surprise to me

I see you have no concept of sarcasm.
1 -
Played killer before, it's not the worse thing in the world. I'd probably play another game though if there were no killers.
0 -
Damn the man, Save the Empire!!!
Seriously, its not going to happen nor should it. Vast majority of players play both sides. A killer main skip day(are we still in high school and will all the killers meet up at the river and hang) is silly honestly, will do nothing, and prove nothing.
2 -
I can somewhat understand how Mettle is toxic. But how are BT, DS and BL/Lithe toxic? Especially Lithe, it is one of the weaker exhaustion perks.
0 -
Have you ever as killer ran into a team of 4 that used all 4? No? When you do be sure to come back

Im playing other games. Doing this to make forum proud and not cause im just fed up with asymetrical horror market. E3 please suprise me with something awesome.

It will prove that survivors need killers to play the game, and driving us away will make life miserable.
BUT!
It works for the other side too. Killers need survivors. You cannot have one and forsake the other here, that is what people don't understand.
Unfortunately people will never understand, and that is the true reason why this game is declining. Because killers never see survivors as human (to be fair we are not supposed to feel mercy) and survivors don't see killers as humans either (to be fair they need to do their best to survive (but the excessive butt dancing and flashlight clicking is painful to watch)).
The problem is this isn't a single player horror game. This is a game with people who are too petty to treat the other side as humans. Anyways, dunno why I went on a rant. No one is going to pay attention, and it's not like I can convince any of y'all.

Nah, if there ever was a killer shortage it would just make survivors like me go back to playing killer like I originally did.
0 -
@Shad03 I agree with you for the most part but the game doesn't need killers survivors would just play kyf or play killer aswell as survivor. If there was ever a killer protest it wouldn't work.
0 -
@KillermainBTWm8 Then there would be less survivors. No matter how you splice it, it'd be a lose/lose situation.
0 -
I agree with @Shad03 less K's & S's means longer wait times on all sides less people on at a time.

I literally play "Play who/what you verse". As Survivor I have to play the same Killer with the same perks and addons I versed and then I use the Survivor build of the Survivor who got the most points in my Killer match. It's pretty fun. The only thing I force myself to is to not use Mettle of Man cuz this perk isn't any better than old DS.
