Forced by the game to abuse Bug / Gain competitive advantage
To get straight to the point:
When you as Killer pick up a survivor and during the pick-up animation the survivor DCs, and you have Agitation equipped.. Well congrats, +18% movement speed forever this game. Game-braking as it is better than having 3 Play with your food stacks the entire time. You can catch survivors so quick, even as Huntress ;)
What to do in this situation? DC as killer not an option, because would lose very good addon and offering. Any thoughts?

Probably farm with the remaining survivors and then report the bug.

Just go with it. No one is punishing the DC, and you're not purposely exploiting this bug, so....

You kinda are, .. indirectly. The survivors in post-game chat surely reported it as hacking and didn't buy the story

It's either that, go AFK, DC, or use the bug to gain competitive advantage.

If you dont want to DC, then farming is the only real option here. You cannot simply keep on playing with that Bug going on. And yes, you are clearly intentionally abusing a Bug to gain advantage, because you clearly notice that you move way faster and that you should not move faster at this point.
If you farm you can get the most out of it without risking a Ban.

Its only a bannable exploit if you purposely try to recreate a known bug. Its not his fault that:
A - The survivor DCed. Maybe if the devs punish DCs, it wouldn't happen
B - The Bug occurred. Its not a bug that he has any control over reproducing. If its bannable, then survivors can DC against anyone running agitation in an attempt to get them banned.
C - BHVR's game is buggy as #########. Are we gonna start banning survivors for exploiting the weak auras on Ormond? Or for abusing killer shack bug? Are we gonna start banning any killers that swing at windows/pallets to exploit host advantage and get hits?
Just play like normal. If survivors don't DC, this bug doesn't occur. You can't purposely recreate it, so you aren't exploiting it.

If you are worried about possibly getting banned then dont be. You are not abusing the exploit on purpose, you dont have control over the survivor that DCd therefore the devs wont ban you.

If you play on with the bug knowing its a bug your abusing it and its bannable. thats it. nothin to discuss on this anyway.

But vaulting the window 3 times procs the bug. If the survivor doesn't stop and give killer a hit after 3 vaults, they should be banned

Again: Bullshit. You can run away as a Survivor. Vaulting the same Window in a Chase more than 3 times is indeed Bug Abusing.
But this is also the case with OPs point:
He cannot control if the Survivor is DCing (even tho, in theory, he can bully him until he DCs, but lets not go too far). But everything afterwards (moving with way more Speed than usual) is under his control. And he is intenionally doing that, because everyone will notice when he moves way faster than he should.
So the only fair solution here would be to farm with the remaining Survivors to not gain any advantage out of this Bug. The Killer can also DC at this point, but honestly, DCing because of a Bug is just...meh.
I mean, in the end OP is only asking if he can get away with Bugusing (and to be fair, with the amount of DCs it is not unlikely at all that this will happen in more than one game...) without punishment by simply playing normal with a big Movement Speed Advantage. And the answer to this has to be "No".

How that hell should anyone get banned for this? If I run Agitation and down someone, pick them up and then this person DC, that's not my problem. Use common sense. You'd have to remove Agitation from the game until fixed and even then it will extremely rarely happen that you may get that infinite bonus speed. As OP stated you have pick someone up, agitation needs to go activated and then the SV player needs to disconnect.
But this probably gets blown out of proportions for no reasons
