Little something for Legion's mend
What if survivors weren't able to interact with certain objects or do certain action while in deep wound status.
For example: unable to fix generators, cleanse totems, sabotage, open gates,... save and heal?
Kinda like doctor's madness tier III
Thoughts?

That's not little at all, lmao.

Being unable to save might be a bit much. If you've got a 20 second mend time, that's a third of a hook stage right there. The rest I don't think would be too game changing, ideally you'd want to mend before doing them anyway (maybe barring totems, since getting a hex out of the way might be worth going down). I wouldn't be against the idea necessarily, but I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks about it.

I'd rather deep wound actually mean something. All his power is right now is tracking. Legion lacks two very important things right now:
Map Pressure
Quickly ending chases
One change I would really like to see is a stacking MS buff per survivor hit with frenzy.
IE:
Frenzy base/tier2/3/4
You get a tier every time you apply deep wound, and it resets when frenzy ends. Would really tie into the whole run fast and stab people fantasy, as well as give legion more incentive/ability to hit more people in frenzy.

How about this: unable to fix gens, to break totems, sabotage and open gates.
And maybe being unable to heal or mend others
(For example it's supposed to be DEEP wound so mending should be your priority over anything else, but I guess not being able to unhook might be too much)

100%. Legion should be incentivized to stab multiple survivors. Increasing MS per survivor hit would bring back a little bit of his old fun-factor and discourage playstyles other than using his power to play catch up and tunnel.

If you would like to see thoughts, I made pretty much same thing in killers section. (Since I kinda wasn't getting response from devs and I got one in here pretty much instantly, and I really like this idea)

How about his vaulting speed would be increasing instead? (Or both at same time... Hm...)

Bro, Legion will not be touched for the next 2 years! Let it go. The fun we once had with him is gone. It's unfortunate, but I've accepted this fate.
4 -
I ain't letting it go.
Speed and vaulting aside.
Survivors being unable to do certain actions in deep wound ain't that big of change either, and I think it would be small but relatively significant change

I understand how you feel brother. I miss Cold Dirt/FMT legion also man. I just accepted he's dead and we won't have him back. They've made sure of that.

Any change to make Mending a REAL threat instead of the make believe fantasy it is now would be a QoL change.
For realism I think Survivor movement speed should be decreased while they have DW, this would help Legion since his Vault Speed got nerfed for some reason. If you're ''bleeding out'' then moving fast isn't really an option.
WHAT IF, interacting with Gens and totems etc decreased your Mend timer like interacting with objects increases your Sickness gauge with Plague? This would force Survivors to Mend within the Killer's TR before they do Gens. Normally they don't care if they're bleeding because they are within the TR and can do whatever they want but what if that in itself made the timer go down and forces them to stall the game and Mend before going on the Gen?
2 -
I'm all for making them want to mend before something else, otherwise when they have the deep wound status on, i rarely see it even go down at all before they mend, i truthfully don't understand it's threat at this point so yeah it needs a threat pls

Legion doesn't need any more tracking.
2 -
Putting 'realism' aside, I think slower movement speed would be too much, especially since they are 115 killer now.
And i think that stoping their action alltogether is better that just making their bar to go down.

You can unhook and open exit gates in madness 3. It would be ridiculous to prevent survivors from doing those things.

I think I did wrote that unhooking wouldn't be included.
But I still insist on gates

Insist away. It's not happening.

@Peanits I think these ideas should definitely be played with. Either having deep wound make survivors unable to interact with certain objects or forcing the timer go down when they do (regardless of TR) could make deep wound more of a threat without being OP.

Even a minor side effect in addition to the need to mend would be nice. Something like dw causes a small individual thanataphobia until healed back to full health. This way you mend and are encouraged to heal or suffer reduced action speed from the severe wounds.

Saving and healing, no. Doing gens, totems, gates, chests, yes.
Also devs need to be aware that currently, Snap Out is prioritized over Mend which is game breaking. Doc can basically get a free down if you were in Madness 3. @Peanits @Almo @not_Queen

If not stopping them from doing the actions then it should at least cause the bleed out timer to activate and rapidly drain even in the killers TR to add a sense of Risk and Reward: You either take time to mend before you finish that gen, or try and finish it before you bleed out. It would also make Adrenaline have some interesting and clutch plays. Survivors never bleed out anymore from deep wounds because of the new and insanely lenient mechanics regarding when the timer pauses, so punishing them with faster bleed out for doing actions instead of taking care of their wound first would at least help it be a bit of a threat again, especially if you also included vaulting and pallet dropping to the mix. Kind of like how Plagues infection rate increases with actions, only it can also drain at its normal rate when outside of the TR if you aren't mending. This would also help add-on's that are currently useless like Stab Wounds Study, and Franks Mix Tape have some usefulness again.

It would be cool if their original vaults speed and addons for increased movement speed could back.

Please make Mending take priority over actions like Generators or totems, right now as a Doctor player the recent changes to Deep Wounds make Borrowed Time feel rather absurd, considering that rather than being a way to counter camping, it can effectively serve as another full health state.
I also wouldn't be adverse to Deep Wounds acting like Plague's disease by making it tick down if the Survivors work on gens/totems or vault/use pallets while in Deep Wounds, thus rewarding Survivors for breaking the chase rather than just looping forever while giving Legion a way to close out chases, which would be nice since nearly every other killer has some gimmick that they can attempt to close the chase with. It'd run the risk of making Plague obsolete, but she could use some work anyway IMO.

Make him be a sprinter like billy for his ability

@Peanits I'd be for all of it being treated the same as Doctor's madness. I believe you can still save and open gates while in tier 3. Either that or as @TWiXT said. I think the biggest difference for using Plague as a comparison is that her ability doesn't eventually down you. It just puts you in Broken, so I don't think chase related actions should be included since it would make tunneling too strong. Just chase down the person until they fall.

@Azurlynx Legion needs to get into fatigue which gives Survivors a head start and Legion has crap Vault speed, the decreased speed doesn't have to be a lot like Clown's bottles but just enough to make Legion deadly. Of course, I don't know the percentages of Clown's bottles and just how slow they make Survivors, it could be so low that anything lower would not be recognized so that could be an issue with my idea.
Also being unable to perform actions compared to actions making the DW go down is probably better, at any moment they can stop the action, maybe the Gen is at 99% and then they Mend so I see your point.

doesn't mending take much longer than snapping out of it? and can't u stack addons to make it take even longer? what are the numbers? how long does it take to snap out of it compared to mending, and how long is mending with each/both blade to increase mending time?

This could be a nice buff! Would definitely be something I'd need to see in PTB.

Just give up on Legion, guys. He's dead and buried and never coming back. No Killer will ever be made effective again because effective killers are unfun for survivors, and BHVR wants to keep their larger customer base happy at the expense of the smaller one who exist to be dancing monkeys for them.

Lots of people came while I was asleep.
Thanks for feedback :)
(PS. If you don't have anything useful to say in here except badmouthing legion like he dead, he buried, or just to give up on him. Please go away :))
