For some reason, I feel like we are not gonna get him with the Ghostface. I hope I am wrong.
Stating that, I am a little bit scared. I like the current design, I hope they don't butcher the new Freddy.

I think it is more likely the rework would be released during a Mid-Chapter patch. Doubt they would want content competing with the new killer. Especially a licensed one.

The release time of the Freddy rework isn't nearly as important as the details of the changes due to come out this month.
I'm very interested to see what they've done and if they've learned anything from the past.
My money is on a change in how he works, but he still somehow manages to not increase in viability.

Yeah ive been playing him a lot and im actually starting to like playing him sad enough but i was just curious to see if his rework is coming with the chapter patch but yeah my hopes are not high either after they made the statement "We'd rather make killers fun not good"

character updates usually only happen with mid chapter patches so probably not

I have my doubts. I have a feeling it'll be the Mid-Chapter afterwards tbh.
At this point though I wouldn't get my hopes up. Between Legion, Plague, and the fact that MoM exists I'm 99.9% sure that the "rework" will just end up being another nerf, especially for the people that actually play Freddy. This time, though, it'll be one that he won't be able to come back from.

According to their roadmap a while ago they said we would get new info on the rework this month, hopefully that info isn't a SoonTM I'm hoping the info is a release date, or even better, WHAT IT IS!
How about let Freddy's superior fans know what it is so we can judge it before you release it and find out if it's crap? We know you've been working incredibly hard on it but recently the community is scared and stressed from some of the weird decisions that have been made.
We're scared Freddy will be better for the community but absolute ######### to his fans.

We're getting a developer update on the 15th (tomorrow, unconfirmed) which will likely have details regarding the Freddy rework.

I hope they don't change him too much with the upcoming nerf as I want him to still play very differently to the other killers.
