Don't play killer until they address the balance
MoM, MoM, MoM, MoM. Love it when surviovrs mains say that the perk takes skill, LMAO. Playing killer is a joke, why TRY when you can relax with your firends with insta heals, DH, Insta heals, and MoM. Say what you want about Noed, at least it still has counterplay. Tell me how do I counter MoM? I would really like to know. Not surprised to see players leaving this game.

Apparently, if you get fog whisperers to encourage the masses to disconnect every time they run into something that you don't like, the devs will rework it.

Only way to counter it is by playing certain killlers. Wow perfectly balanced.

I'm gonna keep playing killer cause it's still fun. MoM hasn't given me any problems cause generally 1 extra hit doesn't change anything for me, and when 4 people bring it they waste so much time trying to get the hits to activate it that they get no real leverage out of it.

Playing a specific killer is not a counter. A counter requires that any killer may play around/deny its benefits if properly approached. At best specific killers are just advantaged by design.

I was purple before rank reset.

As a KIller main.. I use perks that either prolong the game.
-Hex: Ruin
-Hex: Lullaby
-Unnerving Prescence
Along with perks that trigger the Exposed status.
-Make Your Choice
-NOED
-Iron Maiden
And I slug them with..
-Knockout
And use these to find them and others
-Deerstalker
- Nurses Calling
-BBQ and Chili
The killers I have used:
-Trapper
-Clown
-Plague
Using Add-Ons that cause the survivors to have to heal or to be exhausted.
I consistently get 3 and 4 kills. At purple ranks, but survivors in red ranks always knock me back down to Purple.
But that is how I have dealt with MoM, DS, Adrenaline, and Self Care.
Just Adapt and overcome.

My issue with MoM is that you don't know who has it, and it feels like you being toyed with when it finally goes off.
When you hit someone with MoM you have two options, to finish what you started and keep tunneling them, or to try to make a mental note that they had it and just go after someone else and possibly take advantage or the aura reveal IF they decide to fully heal.
Instead of trying to give it counterplay they focused more an apology aura reading to killers who fail to finish the chase, and it only kicks in if the survivor heals.
This has been the best survivor perk i have seen in a while that can cruly waste a killers time. I can't really be mad in times when it kicks in for clinch moments like last minute rescues, but having to start fearing that all survivors might eventually have it is quite depressing.
I don't know whats going on in the PC space but i've seen a huge influx of trappers lately, Probably in response to this perk, maybe not.
As a killer main i get bored easily and try to play as all killers and occasionally survivor.
I just want a chance to know who has MoM, when it is about to activate, that way I can choose to chew the power up or decide to pursue others.

I wish it had the feature of old DS where you were going to be the obsession no matter what if you had MoM would balance it out more. I don't have a problem with MoM myself but if so many others do they should consider looking into tweaks my main gripe is so many complain about MoM but never give any suggestions on how to change it if you don't make suggestions you shouldn't complain. I will continue playing 50/50 as I always have because the game is not the same without playing both roles.

When i do play killer its either.to finish an achievement (4 more to go baby) or to play my main - Legion.
Also dont tell me what to do ;(

@Meme I was red last season and didn't see MoM or "second chance death squads" NEARLY as much as people claim I "should", and I never dodge either. Honestly seems less common than old DS to me.
I'm sure some players are just unlucky and run into it more than others but I find it hard to believe there's not a healthy dose of overexaggeration in play here.

People like to over-exaggerate everything they don't like to push for a change. They'll find that one team all using MoM for example and say that is every team you come across.

Dear god, stop moaning. It's not even that bad. Your acting as if it's as OP as the old Sprint burst or the old DS, or the old Self care and We'll make it combo.
Calm down, it's fine, just brutal on killers like Freddy who can't chase fast.

No I'll play and enjoy it.
I don't care If I win, lose or don't like a perk, the fun is in the chases and mind games, the more who play also helps them to gather the stats needed to look at balance changes.

It's fun of cause you have tons of chances to enjoy the chasing and mind fkin game ,little MoM Ash.

I was talking about playing as killer, unlike yourself I don't see the need cry about a game and all because you are not as good as you think you should be.

Have you seen how that person posts? Its not a misunderstanding it's their bias showing as it always does.
Sometimes you have to sink to thier level so people understand, its all they know, being reasonable all the time doesn't work as it will never hit the required note.
Technically posting you sunk to a lower level as you used it's what is called a soft insult by bringing high school into it, but hey ho.

I would say it was justified, he was misunderstood and the response to his post was heavily bias'd people who show that much bias can tend to be annoying and get under people's skin

So tired of the whiney babies on this forum. MoM is not that big of a deal. I 3-4k'ed every match before MoM, and I'm still 3-4k'ing every match with MoM. I run Trapper, Hag, and Pig mostly, so all M1 killers. I'm colorblind and have to hunt by movement, don't see scratch marks, and most maps are blended to where a Nea can hide in front of me and not move and I'll likely pass by. Yet, I can handle MoM with ease?
Seriously, man-up and play the game. Stop crying about other players who are just better than you. If I get owned by a SWF, so be it. I slaughter the next match. I face 4-man all with Adrenaline, MoM, etc, ok. I'll still kill 3 at least. Because I count on the worst, and work to counter it. Place traps where they least expect it, and when I'm facing the distraction, I let them break line of sight and head to the gen they are protecting. Easy catch.

- Devour Hope is bad
- Rancor is bad, except on Freddy but even then it's not good enough
- Make Your Choice is ok but too inconsistent
- NOED is too inconsistent, also bad
- Mettle Of Man is a trash tier perk and doesn't need to be countered in the first place. It's a much worse Dead Hard

Welcome to DBD in 2017 when the first Killer strike happen and nothing changed, you know what the devs did when this happen? NOTHING.
They made a free weekend and then a price drop and got more clueless players to fill the shoes of killer.

I only play nonkiller if I have a daily.... And as far as mom I just try to hit people as hard as I can as wraith I just treat it as a hit that didn't put them in dying state. Annoying sure. Gamebreaker not really I just have the mindset everyone is running it and plan accordingly

And otherwise you want an easy mode as in sekiro shadows die twice? there is some balancing problem I do not say the opposite, but it is noed, mom, ds etc ... every time you come crying! Do you think about learning to play? the game is not meant to be easy but to bring a challenge ... if it's to cry every week I understand why you keep hurting yourself, uninstall ... Otherwise learn to adapt and change strategy as much among the survivors as the killers.

Not that I disagree with you, but I mainly do not play survivor because they are too weak. There is no point in playing them, there is nothing cool in dying constantly. Maybe the survivors need this perk. No hate guys, like already said, i don't even play survivor, as a killer this is not a big issue for me.
