Mettle of Man's change that nobody actually noticed

You are complaining about the fact that you have to take hits for once, be a hero like Ash but literally everyone ignored the fact that to keep the perk balanced that now ANY hit that makes you enter the Dying state will instead put you into the INJURED state meaning now you have a counter to several killer perks, add-ons, and powers, also you are crying about a perk being changed to have a counter, which a killer had this happen to called "legion" and from what I heard, they are powerful now and have a counter. Also this change buffed Freddy

THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE PERK CHANGE, I AM JUST STATING THE OBVIOUS

@Chaotic_Riddle I know, but the perk now actually requires you to be helpful, and not a P3 claudette in the corner healing with selfcare to get Mettle to work without taking any hits

@Chaotic_Riddle Maybe they think they are doing people a service by being toxic perhaps they will quit the game therefore being a hero and spare them the torture that is this game.

@Chaotic_RiddleAll generalizations are 100% accurate at all times

(I like putting myself in harms way to rescue others)

The live version of the perk is trash and so is the proposed rework. The proposed version however fits stronger thematically and has more interesting gameplay implications.

If you are crying about a garbage perk getting changed you need to GIT GUD

@Madjura If people cry that Mettle got changed to a better version of the original they need to Git Gud (God I hate saying that)

I was hoping for a high risk perk but I am ok with this change also.

@KillermainBTWm8 It is a high risk perk, and you get a high reward from it as well

So you think you'll see a survivor running along the map, doing nothing but looking for the killer, receiving 3 hits if the killer campers, be and hero, and finally... he depip for doing nothing

@prayer_survivor Someone misread this thread, if you take hits for survivors while being carried, it is considered protecting a survivor, so take hits 3 times and if you get hit ONCE by a exposed attack (Double damage) or get sent to the dying state by something other than deep wounds, it will put you into the injured state instead

Funny how some people used to say ######### like:

"Oh adapt to the window bug, adapt to pallet vacuum, adapt to genrush"

And that same people are now crying because they actually have to earn their perk now... Who is adapting now?

I don't really care about mettle of man since I don't use it, but lol at comparing things like Gen Rushing to turning a perk into pure trash.

The proposed changes to Mettle of Man is not some bug, it's the equivalent of turning an Ebony Mori into requiring you to let each survivor wiggle out three times before you hook them in order to kill them.
