Dedicated Server Locations
So we're expecting a rollout of the servers with the next chapter, but there's no mention of an increase in the number of servers?
Many places with high populations of players have a closest server that they would at best have 200 ping to, so I hope this is just something that is being finalised, rather than being entirely ignored.

I don't know if it's being ignored but they have been pretty transparent on it so I'm guessing we'll probably get an update on the numbers/locations etc.

The number and location of Dedicated Servers is not final. If there is a need for a Server in a specific area, they will care for that.
If you live on a small Island somewhere and you are the only player of this Island, you will most likely not get a Server there.

I'm aware, but my issue is they haven't addressed this since it was found to clearly not have appropriate servers on the PTB for quite a few very populated areas, such as Australia.

Once again behaviours pacific population are left without any option but to suffer terrible latency at servers half way across the world. Nothing new there.
Thank the entity that ping isn't as absolutely crucial in dbd as it is in their other less successful titles *cough*eternalcrusade*cough*

Uhhh, are you high?
Ping is very crucial in DBD, have you ever tried to time a pallet throw with 300ms of ping? That's 3/10ths of a second before the signal you send gets received, read and interpreted as information.
Not crucial at all....

Closest server to Australia seems to be Singapore based on the last locations list they released. I wasn't around if/when they tested it, what was the latency from Australia to Singapore like?

Just look up AWS locations, these are POTENTIAL server locations. Apart from them, do not expect any other locations in the next years

it was somewhjere between 350 and 400. will have to test what it's like now.
