killers who just wait for the timer when they find the last survivor is just really an issue, making the timer longer could prevent this issue, or hell simply PAUSE it when they are down, so if they want so badly to have the animation they will literally have to pick up everytime so they get back up and down them again and do the 3-5 seconds of recovery and hit the survivor so many times, so fun for 1 animation kill.

Ah yes so then the survivor can just wait and hide for the rest of the game. As a survivor, you're supposed to work as a team to escape. Why should you be rewarded for failing that objective?

the timer prevents survivors from holding the game hostage and urban evading around the map until the killer quits.

The point of the timer is to end the game and not have its last forever and anyone hold anyone’s hostage

All gen repaired is the condition to escape the gate.

If you havent achive that, then the escape should be an occasional lukcy.

So your only choice is to gamble but not to hide to escape like before.

If the killer find the hatch first, thats your destiny. Embrace your death.
