+0/5/10/15/25% more BP for Wood/Yellow/Green/Purple/Red ranks
Simple version:
Rank 20-17 (wood) gets +0% more bloodpoints at the end of the game
Rank 16-13 (yellow) gets +5% more bloodpoints
Rank 12-9 (green) gets +10% more bloodpoints
Rank 8-5 (purple) gets +15% more bloodpoints
Rank 4-1 (red) gets +25% more bloodpoints, as it is the hardest to keep your place

A little bit more complex version:
20 - 17 remains the same +0%
Yellow rank: 16 => +5% ; 15 => +6% ; 14 => +7% ; 13 => +8% more bloodpoints
Green rank: 12 => +10% ; 11 => +11% ; 10 => +12% ; 9 => +13% more BP
Purple rank: 8 => +15% ; 7 => +16% ; 6 => +17% ; 5 => +18% more BP
Red Rank: 4 => +20% ; 3 => +22% ; 2 => +25% ; 1 => +30% more BP
If we are forced to play harder games, and cant choose to play some chill game with noobs, it's obviously way more stressfull, and this spawned the derank squads.
So i believe if we would get a slight reward (nothing gamebreaking) it would make people more confortable to sit where they belong

The more the merrier.
Streamlining the BP offerings to be more rewarding overall to burn would also be nice. I made a thread about my own suggestions regarding precisely that.

Players at higher ranks don't necessarily play for bp anymore. Some other rewards, like cosmetics, would likely be more popular. Maybe wings or glowing auras or something cool.

This would be a bad idea, less skilled players are going to have a harder time working through the grind and ranking up, if the players above them are earning more BP, getting more add-ons/perks and then every month they stomp on the lesser skilled players during rank reset.
Its basically a punishment for the less skilled/casual players.
Remember, skill is not gained just by time played, you can play a game for 1000's of hours and still be mediocre at it.

It already is this way. Think about it for example, a rank 1 killer will get more hooks, sacrifices, and wins. A rank 10 might not get as many so in the end the rank 10 won’t be getting as much points compared to rank 1. It just forces high ranks to derank and destroy lower ranks.
There is no avoiding the rank reset because that will always happen. But it could happen less if there is incentive of blood points for people not to purposely derank.

as @Spirez also said, less skilled players already have a harder time griding, cuz you gain BP based on how well you played, this BP boost based on rank, not only it will help less skilled players with a little BP boost, but it will make them want to get better at the game, in order to receive more BP

idk guys, Think about it, Killers and Survivors already have a thick layer of hatred for each other. Do you really want this to get worse, messing with other player's paycheck is gonna fuel the fire.

I have been suggesting a better way for this and nobody ever liked it. I think we should have a 5th perk slot that's only open for BBQ or WGLF.... Having a killer with BBQ will mean less chance of a camper which is also a lovely thing for survivors in general. And additionally they could add new ways of getting tokens... I also suggested smth for this but w/e

5 perk slot no i dont like the sound of that cuz killers have bbq no matter what its a must have just like self care (dont use it waste of my time) the only thing to make the game less grind its get rid of the lvls of the perks, reduce bp cost or make it rewarding those that have higher ranks been rank 1 right now dont give you any rewards but with this gives at least hope for rank 1 ppl

@Trotfoxx - Giving the most bloodpoints to the top players is akin to the rich being given more money than the poor. The rich don't need it and it widens the gulf, making the poorest poorer.
Rank rewards are a great idea, but not rewards that effectively punish the players that need the bloodpoints more.

if you wanna get more BP, you gotta earn it, its a damn reward for good players

At this state of the game, a lot of people, me included, avoid going to the higher ranks (for example intentionally let the killer kill me at the end of the game)
What are you currently rewarded with at high ranks?
- bigger wait times for games
- sweaty killers
- sweaty survivors
- just stress
so tell me what is the point exactly to rank up?
Should it be normal for a player to kill himself just to not rank up? Definetly NO.
