M & A on Myers or no?

So anytime I run Myers I automatically start with M&A because no terror radius at EW1, and I play Rabbit so the radius is 4 at EW2 but is that a waste of a perk slot? Is just having the standard 12m radius at EW2 good enough I feel like I'll still be right on top of survivors before the chase starts.

FYI my most used perks on Myers are MA, BBQ, Nurse and Ruin. If I dropped MA i could run Surveillance, Discordance or Sloppy Butcher.

This. Monitor and abuse is an absolute MUST for Myers. It's not even a question.

Ok thanks glad, started to think I was being dumb doubling up in the stealth

I guess it’s up to you, most will say it’s 100% required. I personally played without it for ages and had no problems (like you used dead rabbit and I also used j Myers memorial) I’m pretty new to using M&A myself (because it took centuries to come up in my blood web, so only used it for 20 or so matches). You’re more likely to get potential gen grabs and it’s good for sneaking up with one tap from ew3 (which I pair with discordance personally but surveillance is also good)

I’m going to take the less popular opinion here and say dead rabbit is generally enough, but most people swear by M&A. Honestly I’m loving BBQ more. My general build prior to MA was discordance, thanatophobia, H:DH, overcharge

My current build is BBQ, M&A, discordance and thanatophobia, I would say the best advice is to try with and without M&A ( switched with discordance or surveillance) yourself and see if you get value out of it in your matches. I think it’s a personal preference there aren’t really any “absolutely necessary” perks

If you play hag though please try M&A then you’ll see a true benefit of that perk.

Run a dead rabbit with MA and Infectious Fright. You still remain stealthy in t2, t3 in a chase your tr is massive so when you down someone you will likely make someone near you scream. If not then hook em with bbq since none are close by to find where they are. It's a stupidly strong combo.

I always use M&A on Myers. In fact he's the only killer I enjoy playing and I only enjoy it because of M&A.

Monitor and Abuse + Dead Rabbit = An enormous amount of fun yanking Survivors off of generators, totems, and other interactables.

Even just regular M+A will give you a massive change in your matches. Michael is one of my absolute favorite Killers to play, but it will take a bit of adjustment going for stealth + LoS blockers vs the standard rush in and smack people around.

He's better with it, but you don't necessarily need it all the time. Some myers builds actually work better without it, but that FoV upgrade is hard to pass up.

When i tell people 'Move like a survivor. Use stealth, stay out of Line of Sight' as ways to be more lethal when playing Myers they just drone on and on about map control and his power not being good in a chase. Nice to see that not everyone is completely braindead.

@BigBlackMori Power not good in a chase? His power literally leads to there not even being a chase most times...😂 (and even if you do get in one, vaults are faster and it's not hard to catch someone with an instadown) I personally think the best balance is above w/ stealth and Low TR to get early hits/grabs/stalking to just before tier 3 etc. Then unleashing Ew3 when survivors are in the worst situations (i.e. 2-3 on a gen in a LOS blocked area often identified by discordance)

    What's your general playstyle?

Simple Formula will be pretty good on him soon. Having a perk that can cut off 16 meters of your terror radius in a chase with dead rabbit would be scary.

M&A is not something that you HAVE to have on Myers but it is very useful. Ruin is basically mandatory.

Any combo of Ruin, BBQ, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Bamboozle, M&A, and Nurses Calling works very well for Myers.

    A little info for you. Myer's Terror radius is 6 in T1, 16 in T2 (not 12) and 32 in T3.

For me corrupt intervension is a must, it works really well on him, because he is very slow at the begining, and he can't apply much preasure.

If you use LoS breaks and stay well hidden, you can stalk quickly early game and get right into T2. Generally, I stalk to just before T2, then try for a quick grab, if I get it fine, if not, I pop T2 then go into the usual stalk/chase scenario and go for the OHKOs as I can.

If you dive right in though, without trying to immerse yourself in the evil that is Myers, you can end up in a bad situation with trying to chase and stalk Survivors to get to T2. Good survivors know how to break LoS and deny you that sweet stalk time.
