New Killer Idea: The Arsonist
The overall idea is this:
He can set up to 5 fires which spread in all directions up to a certain max size. Setting a 6th will make the 1st fire die down, and they’ll cycle through as such. The idea is to apply map pressure by limiting access to certain areas.
Survivors nearing a fire will cough and become slightly Hindered by the smoke. Touching the fire itself causes a noisy scream, and visibility is limited from heavy smoke and flames. Prolonged exposure to the flames injures the survivor. (Since we know killers will use flames to block access to the last 1 or 2 generators, the survivor must be able to still work and survive in the blaze.)
What do do you think? Is this idea worth developing further?

I like the idea of spread over time fires, but for the current game I think it would be difficult to show those effects and maintain the optimization level DBD is trying to reach.
Also leaving a fire burning where any strong loop is would be the meta, killer shack burn that motha, Lampkin burn it down, etc.
I would be interested in seeing another killer with an ability like the Doc, where you can switch between modes.
