Survey Results
I want to see the survey results, that we did a while back. I'm sure many others want to see it to! I want to know how many people said yes or no to the (aka battle pass crap). Which don't belong in a game like this. SO BHVR give us the results PLZ!!

I have 2,500 hours and have been playing since beta. I voted yes for the battle pass and would love it if implemented correctly.

@T0xicTyler I wouldn't want a battle pass mainly because we already pay for dlc (or buy it with shards now) so adding more things to pay for isn't really something I'm interested in. If I am interested in a cosmetic I would rather buy it straight out of the store rather than buy a battle pass and grind for it.

I absolutely understand that. If they implement a battle pass the best way they could do it for the game's loyal players while still monetizing would be as Fortnite does it.
People who purchase the battle pass and play enough could earn enough Auric Cells from playing to purchase it next season without paying.
Of course this battle pass would still have a free track where you would earn less rewards if you don't want to pay for it.
Ideally I'd like to see rewards like:
- Bloodpoint boosters (aside from offerings)
- XP boosters
- Cosmetics (exclusive cosmetics on the premium track?)
- Auric Cells (for purchasing cosmetics or saving towards next season's battle pass)

Yep let us see these results. I agree a Battle Pass type thing would Push several away from DbD in my small community alone. but They will never let these results out as I suspect that it would overwhelmingly be against this.

@beasty yea no one listens to the rating on video games and Idk if it will drive people away since it does not really directly affect them but I still don't think they need a battle pass

The game's still in a very broken state and turn around on problem solving along with game balance is very slow. Adding in the headaches of a battlepass would be detrimental to the health of the game. We've still got problems from 2016 unresolved.

@ReikoMori Exactly I would be fine if they dedicated a chapter of the game to just fixing as much of the issues that are there instead of just keep coming out with more and more killers that are more broken than the last
If you ever played Rainbow Six Seige they did the same thing with Operation Health

how long do Survey's usually take for the data to be collected and have some stats to show off anyone know?

Depends on the collation of data. They could have it tomorrow, and they could have it weeks from now.
They may wait till they can use said data, confer with the team, and then post the results with the extra info of how and why they did the survey in the first place.
The only thing for certain is it will be released Soon ™️.

I tolerate the microtransactions in the game because mostly you can get the premium content without paying. (Mostly, not always). And I tolerate it with a heavy heart.
I do not understand how gamers these days are so cucked that they are more than willing to let game developers and publishers milk them for everything they're worth.
It's a sad trend.

I only tolerate microtransactions that don't affect gameplay (skins, badges, etc.). However, I don't buy any single-player game that has them, no matter how inconsequential they are or how cheap the game is.
In conclusion, don't place yourself on a pedestal. Get off your high horse.

I'm seeing some people here say they are more than happy to pay for the Battle Pass.
I'm not on a high horse so much as I find it distressing there are people willing to drop down and bend over to pay for these things, even if they don't affect gameplay.
The industry would be way better without microtransactions, I find it crazy that there are people who actually think microtransactions are a good thing, or want to pay for them.

Assuming the Battle Pass leaks are real, the premium content in the Battle Pass is just skins and additional BP. Skins don't affect the game, and it's not like you can buy things with BP that nobody else can. So yeah, some people are fine with it.

@Mochan Games as a service and multiplayer games in general couldn't work without micro transactions anymore. People need to get payed. Even big AAA single play games sometime just need these extra sales to earn enough money. Games got so much more expensive then before and the customers have way higher expectations then 10 years ago

I dont see this game having enough to it to have battle pass.... honestly.... we had a new item drop and stay in the game permanently since launch.... we still have 1 game mode with little to do other than gen sim.... why is battle pass even being thought of?

you might be waiting a very very long time. they wont post the results if they was massively against it. ( the battle pass) if they already dumped tons of money into the development of the battle pass. they will proceed with it even if the community is against it. by posting the stats they would clearly show they did not listen to the community. so most likely no one but them will know the results of the survey on this question. as its obvious the silence so far just shows they are working on this so adding another nail in the coffin of Dead by Daylight.

lol I don’t honestly know how I feel about skins or even the battle pass I’m for skins being earned and just charge a flat 15$ a month sub. Like any other decent mmo

A 15$ sub? This isn't a MMO dog... Why does this game even need a battlepass, it needs way more fixes to its audio and gameplay before they even consider that.
