Escaped but still lost my purple flashlight + white ward
Is this a joke or something? Why is this still happening? Really frustrating.

White ward only protects you in cases of death. If you didn't have the flashlight in your hand when you escaped, that's how it's supposed to work. If you did have it in hand, that's a glitch.

Nope Sir. Was holding it in my hand, escaped with it and lost it. Was my last purple, that's why I noticed it. Probably lost hundreds of items without noticing it.

That bug should be known by the devs already, I and many others reported this many many months ago. Same happens with killer addons. Still losing them sometimes while using a black ward.

Considering the survivor isn't supposed to lose the item if they survive, regardless of having a ward, I imagine the ward isn't the problem. Unless it only happens when you bring a ward.

It's a glitch that the Devs never talk about and no one ever brings it up to them.
It's so stupid and it happens to me all the time.
I've lost flashlights, toolboxes, medkits & key's to this dumb glitch, but the Devs will never address it at all.

I saw this happen while watching a friend of mines stream, he was using a rainbow map and white ward. The killer disconnected and post match he had one less map then he had started with.

Stupid glitch needs to be fixed.
But ultimately it's not important. It's just a flashlight. I have dozens of those purple ones just on one character.
You can get one in your bloodweb right now, or in the next one. No biggie.

It happens to often, and with killer addons aswell.
Also im quite unlucky, I get a purple flashlight once every 10 Bloodwebs. Really rare and grindy af to get them.

Happened also to me, escaped while holding a medikit who I never used and lost it

It has nothing to do with luck really. It has to do with playing the game. I mean, you'd have to be pretty new if you don't have a hoard of items stockpiled on at least one character. I have several hoards over several prestiged characters. I even wasted a lot of them and just prestiged some purple and pink items away because I didn't have enough time to use them and wanted to prestige already because I hit the 1M BP cap.
I just seriously cannot relate to people crying over a purple flashlight. They are so easy to get.
If you really can't find a purple flashlight in your bloodwebs and it's such a big deal, you can stockpile items by playing Plunderer's Instinct and Ace in the Hole. I have dozens of pink and purple items and add-ons on my main just from using these two perks. I just love hoarding even if I never use them. One day I hope I will have 100 skeleton keys and rainbow maps in my inventory.
Maybe also spend some time with We're Gonna LIve Forever if you're strapped for blood points, I don't know. It seems you're very experienced in the game with 1.5k posts here, so you definitely must have been playing for a while. I just can't understand how you are running out of purple flashlights.

This bug has happened to me too and i have noticed that it has happened to me every time i bring a flashlight to the macmilin estate no matter if i have a white ward or not. I escaped, the killer didn't have Franklis demise and i brought a white ward and i still lost it. I would really appreciate if they could fix this really annoying bug.
