Fan Killer Idea: The Goat
The Goat
Name: Aaron McArthur
Weapon: Sickle
Power: Leading the Shadows:
The Goat retracts his hands, charging up as his shadow followers grow rowdy and squeel. Once released or fully charged, a shadow takes The Goat's sickle and charges forward (speed and distance dependant on charge time), fazing through windows and pallets to slash a survivor and Mark them. With each mark applied, the survivor has a perk disabled. The survivor can be Marked up to 4 times. They cannot be downed by LtS.
To cure the mark, the survivor must go to a lit memorial and send the Mark back to The Goat. The memorial will go out after curing the mark, and light again after a short time OR if a survivor lights it. After the memorial goes out, The Goat receives a loud noise alert.
The Goat cannot attack without his sickle, but can throw shadows that will NOT damage or mark survivors.
Perks:
Martyrdom:
You become obsessed with one survivor.
Every time the obsession heals, unhooks, or generally aids an ally with an Altruistic action, their location is revealed to you for a short time and you recieve a token. With every token, their own healing, unhooking, and aiding time is increased.
If the obsession dies, the remaining survivors suffer with reduced skillcheck size on Altruistic actions, depending on tokens collected.
"You cannot hide your sins with good deeds." -The Goat
Hex: Lust:
Spawn a Hex Totem.
If the Hex is cleansed, the survivor becomes the Obsession, overriding any previous obsession.
Additionally, the killer's obsession perks applies to every survivor for a short time, using the Lust status effect (applies Obsession status to anyone affected)
"They call to me from beyond." -The Goat
No Rest for the Wicked:
Survivors within your terror radius, that are not in chase, slowly build up Exhaustion when in sprint. If they are already exhausted (NOT caused by NRW) and sprinting in chase, they suffer from the Blindness effect until their Exhaustion wears off.
"The goats wait there for their fate... The Devil awaits." -The Goat

I like the creativity here, however I feel like the power would be broken and not fun for survivors. Plus there will be obvious weird instances, like how does this work against No Mither? What if the survivor doesn't have 4 perks? What about Aftercare? Will it disable it for the survivor using it and thus any other survivors gaining the effect? Or will it only affect the survivor using the perk and the others can still see them? Same with Open Handed, or Up The Ante? How about WGLF? It just seems like it would have some very unusual results, while also being very oppressive for survivors.
Furthermore, what would be the point of using your power after a certain point in the game? If someone is on death hook, then using your power is just a waste of time. It would be better to just catch them and remove them from the game. You also don't have control over which perks are affected, meaning that if someone has say Dead Hard and Adrenaline, you can screw yourself if you disable the wrong one at the wrong time. If it's early and you disable Adren, that's a waste. If they are healthy and you have a one shot, then disabling DH would be pointless.
I think there is more potential in the killer being able to do an attack that just phases through walls. They would be like a combination of the Nurse and Billy. They could counter loops and such. However that would mean the power needs some drawbacks. Maybe you can't see survivors during the animation, so aiming it is more difficult. Maybe it has a long cooldown period with a long fatigue, so if you miss it will hurt you a lot. Maybe it can't down a survivor so you can use it to land the first hit or to position yourself for the second hit. That would be more fun for both sides IMO, and more fair.
