Yeah its a solo like the LeatherFace paragraph, but indeed like the LeatherFace chapter came with a Map, so we will have a slight notice on that most likely, if not I understand, the EndGame collapse was a HUGE update and most likely all there time was put into that

Yes, I'm well aware of that, as most of us here are. I believe he is mistaken , as it has always been well established that a 'chapter' includes a map and survivor, while a 'paragraph' does not, and all evidence suggests this will indeed be a chapter. The only reason people believe it's killer only is because that's all that was in the leaks, which are not final or finished anyway . That does not mean there isn't a map and survivor as well.

Honestly if you look at the facts currently:
- Peanits specified that a Chapter doesn't have to mean Sur+Killer+Map combo
- zero mentioning of a survivor on the panel schedule
- Ash's achievements beeing referred as Chapter12_Survivor achievements
- leaks showed no sign of something else than Ghostface
Then I think, we shouldn't 100% assume that this Chapter will be an usual one. Mostly because of licencing, that didn't gave space for a 100% chapter. Of course we could wait and see, but I wouldn't be dissapointed, if we only got to see a new killer.

Well, I find it interesting they didn't mention a survivor, but I'm still holding out hope regardless. If it's a paragraph, it's a paragraph . If it's a chapter, it's a chapter. The fact is, none of us know for sure which it will be.

It would be disappointing that for the 3 year anniversary its just a solo killer release rather than a full on chapter.

Yes, and especially when the movies which it is based upon has the perfect survivor and great map possibilities, let alone reinvigorated the horror genre when it was on it's death bed.. It would be a missed opportunity indeed.

@NekoGamerX They probably tried to get the full license and the rights holders said no. So they had no option but to just use the mask. No amount of time will change their decision so this was probably the only way it would have worked.

That is true. Paulie Esther said in his videos that if there is no map or survivor , they COULD potentially get the rights to add them later, along with the movie robe, but who knows. Just sitting here holding out hope and crossing my fingers. I mean, even the stream schedule listed it as 'chapter 12', so there should be a map and survivor . We'll just have to wait and see.

Its a bummer that we're not getting a complete set, but its better than not having him at all.

If this only comes with a killer (which it probably will), then the term chapter doesn't really mean anything. If Leatherface can come with a killer and a map and still just be a paragraph, then what even is a chapter?

OK, I'm pretty sure after the "leak" R J Torbett said that there was a Map and Character coming with Ghostface. This Tweet has now been deleted. Still, if Ash was a Chapter, Ghostface should be chapter 13. I don't recall any other quarterly DLC being a sole character. There'll be a survivor, I'm sure.

When the devs decided that. It's their game they can do whatever they want. Logic and previous naming rules be damned.
I am disappointed the live stream schedule seems to confirm no Scream involvement as was speculated. Only Fun World is on board.
I wonder why Lantern Entertainment said no? They have the upcoming season 3 of the TV show (which secured the rights for Ghostface from Fun World) later this year. Having Scream IP in DbD would've been great marketing.
Hopefully the positive reaction to Ghosface in DbD will convince them to give the devs the black robe from the films, Sydney Presscot, and maybe the masks from the TV show and Scary Movie at a later date.

Agreed, but in the future they need to make it perfectly clear what constitutes a 'chapter' and a 'paragraph' so this doesn't happen again. Paulie Esther said there's a chance they could potentially get the rights to add them later, assuming they're not in the final version already.
