Predator on Spirit?
Is predator worth a perk slot on Spirit? I'm currently running BBQ, nurse, predator and rancor

Predator is not even worth being in a bloodweb, this perk is just bad, plus scratchmarks are bugged as f*ck so they are inconsistent, predator doesn't fix that.

Hi there, im a Spirit main who plays at Rank 1 without addons and get 4 kills almost every match (only 2 or 3 kills against full TOXIC CWFs, but i still get more points tho), here is my build if you are interested...
Predator, Ruin, Nurses Calling, BBQ.

Fellow Spirit main here. I haven't tried Predator on her. Do you use it because of the current state of scratch marks, or is it genuinely useful, bugs or not? Does it actually get scratch marks to appear on surfaces like the grated floor in Temple of Purgation?

@edgarpoop Not using the perk can also result on victories, but this game is all about efficiency and using Predator just makes your life easier, if you play on the Hospital it is a guaranteed victory no matter what, some maps with way too much grass can be a problem but those would be bad even without the perk anyways.
By reducing the scratch mark area you are able to determine where the survivor is heading to much easier and also eliminates a great percentage of scenarios where a CWF would run around your target just to mislead you.

You shouldn't really need it. If you can go without it then that's +1 perk slot with no mechanical disadvantage

I never known scratch marks are bugged.. how was it before, or it never worked fine?

Casual Spirit Player here Predator, Monitor, Ruin & BBQ is my build, I find it extremely helpful for her but for everyone else it is pretty bad.

It kind of depends, If you're constantly loosing people due to the scratchmarks then It could work for you.
If the game worked this perk would be great on spirit but in the games current state both scratch marks and sound are broken and unreliable so I'd personally go with a stronger perk.

@Bug_Reporter same! But I use Surveillance, STBFL, BBQ and A Nurses calling. We seem to play similarly lol.
To answer the question though, for now, yes. When the sounds are finally fixed, it'll be useless in comparison to other perks.
Idk, it doesn't help me as Spirit it seems to hinder me tbh.

Predator isn't worth a slot imo. Good survivors are juking you with walking mid chase anyway. Scratch marks are also only getting you in the general direction, most of Spirits reads are from sound and prediction.
If they made Predator also increase walking and running sounds, THEN we might be talking here, but currently no.

@OmegaXII scratchmarks just randomly disappear in corners and stairs, sometimes they even show you the wrong direction.

If it would make scratch marks brighter on top of the closer marks with louder footsteps then yes. In it's current form, no.
