Pig needs a rework.
As a Pig main I feel like she is underpowered. Her base kit is more or less fine. But most of her addons are useless. I have a few ideas how to improve her.
1) The height of her camera while crouching needs to be higher. She needs to be able to see her prey and have an accurate idea of how high her head is.
2) Her crouch speed should be higher. 96% I think would be good.
3) I think she should start with 5 traps, rather than 4. My reason for this is 4 traps for 4 survivors makes sense, but she doesn't play by the rules in the movies. I think the extra trap would play into that.
4) Hangman's Trick is absolute garbage and needs an overhaul. At the moment I don't have a good idea what to make this perk. The best I have so far is you get a noise notification when a hook is being sabotaged.
5) As I said above many of her addons are useless. She has almost nothing to help her dash attacks.
I'd like to see an addon that gives her increased dash attack duration.
Rules Set Number 2 should be base kit.
Amanda's Letter should have the negatives removed and the range increased to 18 meters. It's an ultra rare after all.
I'd like to see a very rare or ultra rare addon that gives you 2 extra bear traps.
There is probably more that I'm missing but those are my main ideas.

These are just my personal opinions:
1) Sure, I'm for it.
2) Don't think it's necessary, but I wouldn't say no. She'd still be pretty slow, still.
3) If I'm being honest, I don't think "Because she doesn't play fair in the movies" is a good reason for changes to the Pig. Being faithful to source material is great, but she's a character in a video game first and a character from the Saw franchise second. As far as giving her an extra trap, I don't hate the idea persay? Not sure if it's the most necessary thing in the world, though.
4) I feel like this is a different discussion, as the perk isn't really much of an indication of the Pig's viability (unless you're trying to get the Adept Pig achievement, I guess).

Amanda's Letter changes - Yep, this looks pretty good to me.
Very Rare/Ultra Rare add-on giving 2 extra traps - Ehhhhhh. I wouldn't even think this is a worthwhile add-on normally, but with the Pig's nerf in 2.7.0, I think this has a very real chance of going to waste.

Look, i do enjoy killer buffs, but i think devs simply dont want her to leave the mid tiers, so i suggest you stop wasting yor time here on the forums because this post WILL get ignored.
Mid Tiers: Hag, Pig, Trapper, Doctor. (Since her last nerf, The Pig got very close with The Trapper, but she is still decent. Hag is leading by far now.)

Hoffman is a character was about as interesting as sandpaper.
He didn't have the charisma that John did and he didn't have the depth and character intrigue that Amanda did.
He was literally Mary Sue douchebag who basically turned into and even less interesting slasher killer after Saw 5

@Aari_Piggy66 he was physically capable of actually doing stuff unlike 5'1 100 pounds Amanda or old guy with cancer john, all Amanda did was cry and ######### all the time and get herself and john killed even though she worshipped him, Hoffman was really ######### smart in the movies, he used a letter to get Amanda killed

why sell the character if not faithful to movies. They could just make the killer original instead. If you add a leatherface but not faithful to movies why did you get him. Might as well said forever hillbilly is your chainsaw killer. Ghostface if has nothing to do with movies might as well be legion. Same with pig if she doesn't play like her movies why not have own character. And also why bundle a movie with the same dlc if you don't want the franchise be represented. Don't sell the movie with it especially if you don't care about source material. That is what bad remakes do for what in the industry is called "cash grab" and using a character wieght to push your product value up.
Video game movies do this to us consumers all the time and the original source material is ######### on. Dbd in general with this attitude pushes horror fans away looking at game as something horror posers play. But thats because freddy was a shallow joke of himself. I never liked that horror community lumped us with slenderman and fnaf games that have jaded looks on horror. But if one doesn't care about source material than that is a jaded look that goes well with praising the sonic the hedgehog trailer.
