I hope they add a battle pass.

I would love to see some rewards for playing.

Agreed... 100%. More cosmetics and rewards for playing. And even for free.

The games health is more important than a battlepass, but we'll see it come out regardless. Even if 60% 70% even 80% of the community is against it, it will come out.
Sad to say, but we'll see it regardless of what ANYONE says, its a gaming norm now to see battlepasses. So this isn't a surprise to me that this game will also have one.

@FireHazard The 2 can coexist and be worked on simultaneously. I would love to see a massive update where survivors get a secondary objective and several perk reworks.
However, that probably wont happen. At least for awhile.

@KingB Regardless if it can be worked on simultaneously I don't agree with the practice.
People who struggle with impulse buying will get the pass, and anyone who wants a limited time skin but can't get it unless they fork over the money for the Premium pass will also buy it.
You can say its their fault for buying stuff out of impulse, which I will say you're right. But I don't agree with the idea of praying on people that don't know any better either.
One side will hate it, the other will like it. But ultimately it is not up to us, and it never was in the first place.

To be fair, if you want rewards for playing, you're already getting that with BP & IS.

The games health is more important to me then the battlepass. I'd rather they work on the bloodpoint/shard grind, and continue balancing out perks/killers/maps then add the battlepass last.
Plus, so far, we only know that there is cosmetics in the pass. Not really enough incentive for me personally when I already have plenty of cosmetics, unless those cosmetics are just holy ######### awesome, or there are teachables within it the pass so far doesn't seem that interesting.

Yeah! lets add battle passes so behavior has more control over prices even more enjoy paying 40 bucks for skins when they release battle passes! no one takes into account the fact that if they are gonna be giving free things away they gotta make up for lost profit BUT YEAH DUDE! In case someone out there thinks im serious its sarcasm they are gonna up skin prices mark my word no way in hell they dont.
Either the passes are gonna be expensive than people wouldnt buy them they gotta get their lost profit back so it looks like skins are gonna be the thing prices get upped on hey man people wanted passes now reap the downsides of them.

I would like it if I believed they could keep up with the demand. It takes long enough to create cosmetics as it is, now they need to create loads for one pass every 3 months.
Maybe release 1 cosmetic piece per level on the pass. At the end of the pass you should have maybe 2/3 sets for each character.

The problem with battle passes is you're paying to grind. I liked battle passes when I was somewhat playing Fortnite because I was getting more than I paid for overall, but then I ended up never getting to the max level because I didn't play it that much, which caused me to lose out on things like really awesome skins at the end, especially when they started adding skins that were higher tiered versions of the base skin you start with. That's when I stopped buying the battle pass. I also don't agree with lessening the grind by literally half for paying players. Grinding is already hard if you didn't start long ago, and if you don't have Ruin on a killer you're pretty much screwed. Someone with a premium battle pass would get Ruin 2 times faster than someone that didn't, outside of REALLY ######### luck. If BHVR wants to add something like a premium membership, it shouldn't be something that you have to grind to get the rewards. That requires too much commitment for a game like this.
As far as them upping skin prices, that's entirely possible as well, because if you can pay 10 dollars to get the same skin as several skins that cost 5-10 dollars, they'd lose money on the battle pass. Or they might even remove skins from the shop completely and load them into their battle pass, OR remove skins from the shop and only have certain skins up at certain times, like Fortnite, where their new skins will be completely battle pass only until like a year later where they might show up on the shop at some point.
If they add a battle pass, skins won't work the same way for sure. There will be some sort of changes to their base shop.

Thats basically what i said the skin prices going up but 2 people didnt like me spitting facts and downvoted it i mean its whatever but yeah battle passes allow them to basically say hey we are not making enough money off skins now lets up them to 30 bucks or more people dont get the downsides of battlepasses or they choose not to see the downside.

Also what's with people claiming they're going to get free stuff ? You don't, you buy the pass, wich is basically buying skins but getting them later ( or never ) , there's nothing free about it, otherwise they wouldn't call it a "pass".

Ok even though I have no problem with the battle pass as long as it's purchasable for auric cells so my bundle auric cells don't pretty much go to waste.
I have seen some genuine complaints for the battle pass really do I ever see people bring up they don't like fortnite in fact if anyone brings up fortnight it's mainly to say that battle passes should only belonging free-to-play economies which is a valid reason

It won't happen as long as people protect bullshit practices like Lootboxes or Battle passes.

One of those is literally a GOTY winner Overwatch 2016.
CoD is beloved by many and gets good reviews every year. Blackout last year was praised.
Anthem will get better in a year or two as development continues thanks to those microtransactions funding its future.
More money being put into games is a good thing. They get that money from us.
For example maybe if bhvr had battle pass money they could buy the rights to original freddy.
