The perfect nerf for the nurse
Nurse at red ranks is like 4/5 of the games. As they breake all game mechanics and can't be looped.
So it will be fair removing skratch marks or make them less durable. We dont ask addon or gamestyle nerf, just make the game legit for survivors

If Nurse would have been released today, she would not see any Scratchmarks. She would have some form of Downside to her ability.
But well, you cannot ask for Killer Nerfs in this Forum.
Besides that, the Add-Ons need some Insight. Nurse does not need more than 2 Blinks and she does not need Omegablink. She is the best Killer without Add-Ons, even if others are using Add-Ons.

Your idea was crap on the Steam forums and it is crap here. Git gud, stop relying on pallets against a Nurse and learn how to juke her, like an actually good Survivor would.

Rework of addons is all she needs. Learn to use stealth against her and juke during chase.

"can't be looped" yeah guess what, DbD can be played different than just looping. Heard about los blocking walls, mindgaming? U can loop Nurse, but different as u think. U basically run around the map in big loops while blocking Los.
Nurse doesn't need a buff or nerf, imo only additional blink addons need to he removed.

You can try to loop a nurse however if the person playing her knows how to do it... juking her might be almost impossible xD

I was playing against Gammalunatic (p3 legacy Nurse with over 5k hours) and was doing this big looping for over 1 minute. And with dead hard I wasted his time for around d 90 seconds in total just in chasing. Enough time for my mates to finish 3 gens.

Fatigue is the downside to her ability. That and her low move speed, she's even slower than survivors.

The perfect balance for nurse is:
her movement speed base increase by 110!
BUT she will no longer be able to cross walls, pallets or floors when blinks!

Nurse doesn't need a nerf, other killers simply need to be buffed. More importantly, we need more killers like Nurse that simply ignore looping and force survivors to use other play styles.
I really hope the Freddy rework results in him being a giant middle-finger to looping mechanics.

Just to clarify something mentioned in the OP, the usage rate for the nurse is only about 22.39% of all matches played at rank 1 on PC. On console, her usage rate is significantly lower. She's definitely not used in 4/5 matches, it's much closer to 1/5.

How would one even get rid of looping? The only way would to be make every pallet very unsafe or delete all pallets both are very bad game decisions. Looping is why survivors are strong get rid of it you just shifted the balance of the game so much that the survivors would be the ones complaining and wanting buffs every update.

Do you keep track of regions? I feel like EU players are much more sweaty than any other region and has much more Nurse players.

Oh, the guy that lies about his ranks is complaining about something happening at a high rank...what a surprise.
The nurse has already had several nerfs since her introduction (including the one that lead to her iconic movement speed).

STEALTH.
It feels like nobody considers this as a method of avoiding her anymore. She’s super slow, so if you feel as if Nurse is coming— HIDE. Searching as her can take ages. Perks like Spine Chill, Premonition, and other items such as Blood Amber for a key exist as well.

Still, if all killers were viable and balanced - kind of - to the same level, their individual pick rate should be around 6.6%

She has downsides to her ability. Let's go over them
Every additional blink adds 0.5 fatigue
Lowest movement speed in the game. Physically can't win the game without using her power.
Blinking can be hindered by the smallest irregularities in map tiles
Can be burned out of blinks with flashlights
Lets go over the nerfs the Nurse has had since release.
Base blinks down from 3 to 2
Aim assist removed from attacks from blink
Movement speed lower twice to be where it is now
Can be stunned by palettes while blinking
Added flashlight burn weakness to her blinks
After all of this she's still the best killer and has a high skill cap. You need to let it go.

I'd like some more visual obstructions. Your best bet is trying to juke Nurse with obstructions. I usually just wait around a corner at a pallet when she's moving around to stun for shits and giggles.

True but: "Can be stunned by palettes while blinking" was removed again after the community outcry for the right reason. You can again only be stunned at the end of a blink or before you start blinking.

Things that got changed to balance her should not go into affect. We are talking about current Nurse. Was she better with 3 Blinks? Sure. Does it make her not the best Killer? Nah.
Of course she gets fatique, but who cares about that? Those downsides are too small to have any real effect.
Thats the same as saying that Insta Heals are balanced, because they decrease the charges of your Med-Kit and use it when you use the Insta-Heal. Two quite big Downsides, but nobody would say that those are enough to balance Insta-Heals. Same goes for Nurse.

That happens from time to time not allways though but she ALLWAYS wipes her blade before entering fartigue when she scores a hit on someone working on a gen opening a chest cleansing a totem saboing etc. while normally you straight go into fartigue without wipe animation if you hit someone.

Nurse is fine we need a Killer who easily 4k every game to deal against tryhard swfs.
22% is close to 20% so really not a big Deal and also Hag has the highest kill rate ;)
Lets give her 110% movement Speed with the next Update so Bad nurse Players or console Players can also catch up

Yep, and if you divy up the other killer percentages equally its about 5% per killer. This doesn't take into consideration Billy and Spirits pick rates which are likely equal or higher than the nurse, if you assume 20% for those 3 that makes 60% of high rank matches with these killers leaving 11 killers with equal percentages 3.6% but yea the game is balanced alright :)

Removing scratch marks? How is that a nurse nerf?
Sounds like a massive survivor buff... and one that will break the game to boot. Killers without scratchmarks are basically blind. It would be super easy to juke them.
Nurse is fine. She's not OP. She's found the most in high ranks because she is the most effective killer against loopers. And survivors at high ranks are all loopers (except for me that one time when I went up there just to get there).

@Peanits Well... Console don't use her because of frame rate.
But the OP does have a valid point. Look at all the ######### you did to legion, just because he can run a little faster. He has Nurse fatigue, can't see scratches while running, or bloodpools. Maybe something like scratch marks being invisible for 5 seconds after a blink might be a good nerf. for the nurse.
And as always: Give other killers some love and make them stronger when you nerf one of the rank 1 staples.
