Its been canceled. They decided to make the new killer Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the one from the 90s, not the Netflix version).

Hi! Interesting that its Ghost face and NOT Scream. I always thought the two were intrinsically linked, but it would appear not so!

Well, the chapter's called the Scream chapter presumably,

Nope. Its called Ghost face; its on the trailer and no official mention referring to the Scream movies. He is an entity in his self outside of the films.

Not entirely true. Based on the leaks- there are a number of things that are obvious call backs to the Scream films such as the perk simple formula , the Buck 120 hunting knife, the blade wipe, and the mori animation , complete with 90's cell phone. Heck, even in the trailer, the rope and duct tape Ghostface buys are references to the first two kills in the first Scream film. This is clearly the movie version of Ghostface, the only thing missing is the movie robe , which as I understand is also owned by the mask rights owner, so it could very well be added.

R.J. Torbert has referenced the films countless amounts of times in his books and other projects and the entire concept of a Buck knife wielding killer that wears the Ghostface mask is based off of Scream. It didn't exist before the movie came out. He just knows that you can get away with referencing something. This is gonna be a very tongue-in-cheek chapter, considering that Ghostface's attitude from the trailer, his weaponry, his leaked perk name, and a couple of his addons are all references to Scream. So, yes, this is a Scream chapter, per se, it's just not based off of the movies for legal reasons.
