Pallets
Is it just me or is the number of pallets spawning too much? Recently there appears to be pallet after pallet and they're usually spawned so close together.
Usually this isn't much of an issue, but at killer rank 3 playing against 4 SWF is a right pain.

Yea it feels so. I mean I would be okay with the amount of pallets but they are in 9/10 cases safe and you cant outmindgame them ^^
A few days ago i were billy on a coldwindfarm map. I had Spirit Fury + Enduring and i started a chase with an active spirit fury. The chase lasts for a minute or sth and i used spirit 2 more times and got him because he thought I would respect a jungle gym pallet. I had a ebony with me, just in case the Blendette would annoy me with her cosmetics. Thank god i was able to mori this ######### xD

I hate this and you cant do anything than breaking it. Even with BL 3. Im extremely excited for the dev stream. They wanna talk about map reworks. Until then Im okay how it is now. You know. Enjoy times and stuff until things changes (to the more fair)

It does feel excessive. Especially the double pallets being back...again.

This side of the map has a bunch and the other doesn't. Sometimes it happens

I get weird spawns on farm maps sometimes. 4 god loops next to eachother. But other than that its fine

A lot of times, the pallets simply don't spawn well. You have one part of the map which is a dead zone and another part where you will get looped for hours.

It's RNG sadly some games you will get places with double pallets and excessive pallets and other times there will be 0 pallets in an area

Pallet spawns have not been changed recently. Each map has a minimum and maximum pallet count. It will try to space those pallets out as best it can by not spawning pallets within a certain radius of other pallets. If the minimum number of pallets has not been reached and there are no valid spaces left, it'll break the rules and spawn them wherever it can. This is why you'll sometimes end up with double pallets.
The silver lining is that if that does happen, you have the lowest number of pallets possible.

That's fair enough and makes sense, I just assumed there were a set number for every map. Thanks @Peanits

Why do you never respond to my threads about stuff like this? You keeps ignoring the issue of pallet hitboxes being too large for killers causing them to get stunned from far away and even around corners.

The lowest number of pallets possible is already way too many for any M1 killer to handle against competent rank 1 survivors. Even with the lowest amount all 5 gens will be done before they are out of pallets.

Yep, they increased the number of pallets, since the DS got nerfed. Pretty much ######### for M1 killers.

Man, I hate how that is handled. If all the valid pallets for a map have been spawned, it should not spawn additional pallets.
Also, if there's a min/max pallet count, why not have the max = number of valid spawns.
