Vanilla (our Hosting Company) will be carrying out maintenance on their servers between July 21st - August 22nd, this might result in some temporary instability on our forums. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Kill Switch update: We have temporarily disabled the Blood Rush perk while we work to fix a known issue affecting it.

In the meantime, the Last Stand and Streetwise perks have been re-enabled alongside fixes for their known issues.

The Blindness Status Effect

Blindness Introduction:

Let's admit it, Blindness is pretty useless besides being a slugging tool and no one likes slugging. Furthermore, it drastically punishes solo survivors because they can't counter Blindness like SWF can so therefore, SWF will thrive while solo survivors suffer. It's time that we change the status effect so that it has an equal affect on all parties.

The New Blindness Tier I Status Effect:
  • Blindness will now hide all progress bars
  • Blindness will now hide your item's remaining charges
  • Blindness will now hide your perks (but will not deactivate them).
  • Blindness will now hide all status effect notifications, progress bar modifiers (Ex: Increased Skill Check Chance), and perk modifiers (Ex: You won't see if you're affected by Dying Light or Leader).
  • Being in direct contact with someone who's not affected by Blindness will cause them to be affected by Blindness, until you're no longer in direct contact.

The New Blindness Tier II Status Effect:
  • Includes everything in Blindness Tier I, but it also hides all auras.

The only time you'll receive Blindness Tier II is when you hide in lockers, while you'll always Blindness Tier I from everything else.

So, what are your thoughts?
