Never knew this was a thing.
Why cant we use the key to unlock the hatch while crawling? Why is that restricted?....
Edit: I just find it an unnecessary restriction

Yeah, it's over once you enter the dying state. However, I find it ironic that the dying survivor can get up and jump into the hatch, but can't open a locked door. This also applies to Med-Kits as well.

I know about medkits and that's understandable.... medkits would be way to strong if we could heal ourselves up.... unlocking the hatch though that's a bit restrictive and I dont see why that couldn't be a thing since it would only be an end game

I dont understand how can dying survival jump into hatch...

Please, let us drop items too when in dying state. I'm thinking in med-kits or even syringes

@prayer_survivor oh lol, yea, that's one of those typical infuriating moments: two of us left, on top of the hatch, we could both escape but I'm down and I'm holding the keys. So frustrating and funny at the same time :)
Not sure I'd change that, although it's somewhat unrealistic how you can't give an item to a teammate when you're down (and they can't take it from you). But it may give too much of an edge sometimes (imagine someone carrying syringe medkit going down).

I knew that we couldn't use our items such as using the aura reading ability that the addons give the key or using medkits to heal... I knew that but opening the hatch with the key while on slugged I didnt realize that was restricted...

I just dont see how its neccessary to be restricted... medkits would negate the slug tactic to make more time for killers, toolboxes just wouldnt make sense, maps I feel would be complicated with solo its unnecessary to restrict the player from using the map because being slugged ya cant do anything anyways but with SWF you can coordinate and keys are in the same boat as maps....
Unlocking the hatch while slugged should be a thing imo with EGC now theres no need for a restriction on that part of the key...

Might be an interesting future perk. It shouldn't let someone get up from the dying state (except maybe with a syringe), but they could heal faster with a medkit (at an increased cost?) and unlock the hatch. This only works when getting slugged so it's situational and I don't think would shift power, except they have to use up a perk slot.
