I'm Starting To Understand Why Certain People And Streamers Can't Find Matches At High Ranks

They are using MLGA to sort out who they face, resulting in almost no matches when no other killers are available. You don't want to face certain people but shoot yourself in the foot XD I just thought it was funny. Can't ban for it but sure can't find a match so they ######### at the devs. @Peanits I realized that almost all the streamers that "can't find a match" are using MLGA to sort out matches. Just wanted to bring this up. Maybe blacklist MLGA again.

I swear this was an issue months ago but was since sorted out. I've been at Rank 1 two months straight, and everytime the queue was, while not being too long, a good 2 minutes, so modestly annoying.

I could've sworn MLGA was just something that showed ping and not actually stopped you from connecting to certain people, but I only used very briefly last year.

That's not even how MLGA works. It just shows pings and whether or not you've marked the ping as Loved or Blocked. It doesn't block connections.

Really? That's definitely not what I heard about MLGA. And if that's all it does, that application is so useless I don't see why it would be popular enough for people to know it by abbreviation.

Seeing the true ping of a killer is extremely useful. You can see a bunch of spikes and leave before the game starts to avoid a Wi-fi gamer, ######### like that.

Yah, MLGA never outright blocked connections, it just informed you if the person your connecting too is on your personal block list.

Lol, ironically, I just got out of a game where somebody straight out admitting to using mlga for the express purpose of blocking people they don't want to play with. The timing of confirming what that application is actually for is brilliant. Finding the true ping of killers? Ha, as if the in game system is so erroneous that a whole new program would be popular enough just by being more accurate.

I don't believe that's how that works. From what others have said, it shows up as red and you can choose to dodge. I've never used it and can at times wait for prolonged times to actually get into a lobby. It depends on time of day and where you are, how popular it is, etc. From what some have said, they use it to avoid seeing the same two killers for every match since that gets boring and to avoid people who cheat or they don't like facing.

There should honestly be time punishment for lobby dodging when dedicated servers are introduced. For both sides.

The in-game ping system IS that erroneous. That's exactly why it was made.

Really? You're honestly going to sit here and pretend that the reason that mlga was made was for an accurate ping system?

  • ScottJund

Actually it was made before a ping system even existed, so yes.

And even then, we both know EXACTLY what it was for.

Some killers are simply out to destroy any fun a survivor has, just like some survivors are out to destroy killer's fun. Did you know there are many killers that will go out of their way to be toxic to anyone with a ttv in their name?

The difference is a killer gets to dodge lobbies.

I've said it before, MLGA is a piece of crap and is just state-sponsored dodging.

Since 4 people downvoted me XD I'll just say this. I don't care about MLGA or if you use it but if you DO use it, don't complain about not finding matches with the block function. If you don't like a killer you're facing, suck it up. I get survivors that I don't like and if they change their name, its hard to keep track of them. I don't get all up in my undies over it. I made a point and brought it up as a issue. If you want to downvote because I MENTIONED MLGA, well, don't cry about finding no matches. If you aren't, don't downvote just because I brought MLGA and hard to get lobbies since it WAS an issue before and they actually had it blacklisted (which fixed matchmaking) and now its whitelisted again a few months back and now the lobbies are ######### again. Coincidence? I doubt it. It's been a problem before but instead, they want to complain about lobbies being broken.

I can confirm this actually. Back when I streamed I would get a lot more aggressive killers if I had TTV in my name

I leave TTV in my name simply because it makes people play interestingly, and it makes people give me easy views when they are salty against me lmao
