Scream. Now most of you all hate it. I have never seen so many complaints of a kiler before yet, the community banged on about wanting Scream.Expectations to reality folks.

I have no clue why you feel the need to hate on Scream. It literally revitalized the horror genre with it's satire and clever plot. The only thing to hate about Scream is the fact that it spawned the garbage series that is Scary Movie.

I like him even in game but they need to fix him. It is in their interest to sell him because of the license anyway. Before any of you jump in to say how other licensed killers are weak, they weren't unviable when they first got out at least right? But even if he is fixed they could nerf him again unfortunately, so people should expect that.

Because it's not Scream. No map or survivor. All we got was the Ghostface mask and a massively underpowered killer.

I didn't care for Scream or having the license; I heard what the power was and saw the design during the intial leak and was underwhelmed - it felt unoriginal in the context of DBD. But it did sound fun, I guess. In a memey way.
In the end, the way the power is intended to work is great, on paper. But it seems so buggy, and isn't usable except on potatoes. And that is not how you want your balancing.
Hell, even if you can physically see someone through corn, he can't even stalk them, yet people can cancel his power completely by looking in his general direction without any knowledge that he's there?
Plus the survivors get a very obvious audio notification when he begins to use his power, making them look around them if, you guessed it, they're not potatoes. It's too easy to counter. It's a case of handholding survivors with information VS a STEALTH killer in this scenario

@TreemanXD I mean with his power he certainly could be 'strong', in a similar way that Myers can be, although if done right, easily better while still being pretty balanced. But the fact is that as of right now, he's too easy to counter with spoonfed information on his actions.

Ghostface will be out 2 years then they'll re-work him like they did Freddy?

Ahh i feel the love flow with the down votes :) we all new ghost face was going to not be as strong but well here we are - again and when he gets buffed - it still wont be good enough - again. So well, just get use to things i guess.

Im rank 3 with Legion and i have no problem getting 4k, when i say nerf, im talking about the stun duration, if u miss, you get stunned and the vault speed. I dont care about the other changes, actually, i like how it is right now.
All im saying is that legion had more complaints than ghostface, im not trying to start a legion thread because its usseless to give my opinion for the devs.
And btw, i think i play fair, I am one of those who say "Do not do to others what you would not want done to you".

No it isn't what i meant, a lot wanted scream and now it's happened there are a lot of threads with people not happy. Really? how else was this going to go? when most have complained about the killers since Spirit. They should of given the costume to The Legion and then this wouldn't of happened.

Did it, though? They didn't get the Scream license, so nothing from the actual Scream franchise was implemented outside of the mask (which is a separate copyright).

This isn't based on the movies. They didn't license the movie just the Fun World mask which was made a year before the first movie. So from that standpoint you're just factually wrong about something you can just easily look up.
With that out of the way, lets talk about what we did get. We got a killer whose power isn't actually something he has much control over as survivors do his power better than he does. That is insane. Survivors are better at counter stalking Ghostface out of his power by nature of being in 3rd person view. They don't even have to commit to looking at him for a real length of time.
People are going to complain when you give them something with a promise of being fun AND powerful, but instead they lack both fun and power.
