Wait, what is the change?

You get red effect around your vision when you get pallet stunned.
Looks like trying to stalk while in EW3.

Just been trying to find a video, but all the Streams seem to be survivor gameplay, or edited.
:/

Basically a red flash every time you get hit by a pallet as a killer

I struggled with this, even when watching streams - it was really making me feel queasy.

I think an effect would be fine if it only affected the outer part of the screen. The current one is a bit forced though.

Maybe it would be alright to have some kind of visual effect like Legion stun after FF so just around the edge and not the entire screen. But I would be fine with nothing aswell.

@MandyTalk maybe this would so you don't feel queasy anymore, can u bring up this idea to the devs?

I would rather they remmoved this effect. We already can easily tell that we got stuned, its distracting, and it just does not feel like it belongs in this game.

Not a fan of the red light either tbh.

Maybe not use this effect, but I like how theyre adding more little things to the game like a stun effect and a sound when pulling out of a locker.
2 -
It needs to go. It's not needed. It's even annoying to watch on streams.

I've already made a thread about this issue. If you like to, you can take a look at it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66505/ptb-new-stun-vfx-for-killers-when-hit-by-pallets
Bottom line: Nobody likes the new visual effect.
As @AChaoticKiller said, we know that we got stunned. We don't need an additional effect.

Yeah but the killer doesnt need the red flash, they already grunt or moan and get their vision tilted. The red flash is just uneccessary.

Good job devs!
Who is to congratulate for this decision?
After 3 years who thought of you, that a red flash is needed and would improve the game experience and game health of the game?
Who took the time to code and implement this and play test it, rather to make sure that the new killer works properly?
Who greenlight the idea of a sickening red flash that gets steamed online would be, what the game and audience need?
It is a pain to play with the red flash and it's an pain to watch it, if someone else's is playing.
Why do you shoot yourself in the foot by making it harder to enjoyably stream and promote your game?
Can we get some honest, clear and open communication about the thought process behind these kind of ideas?
I don't bother to ping Peanits and Co, because all my dev and game development related questions are getting ignored.
You posses an active and engage audience, so why wouldn't you interact with them, be transparent and let them give you input?

seriously, stop with the visual effects
they're unpleasant, they aren't immersive, and they add nothing to gameplay
clown's was poorly received, legion's was poorly received, plague's was poorly received, and now this is being poorly received
it's enough

i guess the devs are just trying to spice things up a little. i don't have too much of a problem with the stun visuals.
as much as it is to people's distaste, you have to understand that they're also trying to experiment with things as well and make the game somehow more pleasing while they're working with other factors of the game itself.

I think it looks.. odd..? Like, its so weird.

@Skittlesthehusky Nobody likes this new visual effect. A lot of people even hate it and are getting sick watching it.
Players are angry because the devs spend ressources on creating a very bad effect that nobody asked for, instead of using their ressources for dealing with existing issues.

understandable, but my point still stands. again, it's the whole point of experimentation.
after all, who's to say that they aren't fixing bugs in the background while implementing these things? you may never know what the devs are doing unless if they explicitly state it themselves.

@Skittlesthehusky "who's to say that they aren't fixing bugs in the background"
Those who play this game a lot know how long certain issues have been existing. We just keep encoutering them in our matches.
That doesn't mean that the devs aren't fixing bugs at all. Of course they fix a lot of bugs.
The problem here is the priority. If a game is in a good state of health, then you have the time to implement and try something like this visual effect. Ressources are limited and should be used wisely.
