The Trapper: Bear trap. A large foothold trap made of steel. Traps are found lying around the area waiting to picked up and set anywhere.

  • Immobilizes and puts bleeding status effect on trapped victims.
  • Victims can break free after 2 seconds struggle.
  • Traps cannot be placed near windows, pallets or generators

The Wraith: Wailing bell. A heavy cast iron bell imbued with ancient powers. Allows its user to enter and walk the spirit world when rung .

  • Grants near total invisibility
  • Slower movement when invisible
  • Cannot attack while invisible or interact with objects
  • If being looked at for 2 seconds gets stunned for 4 seconds and power goes on cooldown
  • Power has a cooldown of 30 seconds.

The Hillbilly: Chainsaw. A hulking and deadly Chainsaw of terrifying power. Grinds through flesh bone and soul. Once revved up, sends its user into a violent frenzy.

  • Break into crazed sprint for 32 meters on activation.
  • Injures and puts Deep wound on a succesfull hit.
  • 20 seconds cooldows.

The Nurse. Spencer`s last breath. A powerful and violent last breath snatched from Crotus Prenn Asylum warden Patric Spencer. Channelling its energy allows The Nurse to pierce and jump through the spirit world in a blink multiple times in a row. Doing so leaves her in a state of fatigue.

  • Grants the Blink.
  • Grants 1 additional Blink
  • After Blinking you cannot attack.
  • Has a cooldown of 20 seconds per blink.

(Nurse`s movement speed is 4.4 meters.)

The Hag. Blackened Catalyst. The source of the Hag`s power, a blackened finger used as a catalyst for her terrible power. The Hag bends and shapes the mud to her will. With simple ritualistic drawing, she creates deceitful duplicates of herself made from mud and decay which she can use for various effects.

  • Grants the ability to create and maintain 10 Phantasm traps.
  • Grants the ability to travel to triggered trap Phantasm traps when within 40 meter range after charging secondary power for 2 seconds.
  • After placing a trap start a cooldown of 10 seconds.
  • Cannot attack for 1.5 seconds after teleporting to trap.

The Shape. Evil Within. The darkness inside feeds his determination to take the life of his prey clearly and build up more evil power by stalking them. Evil Within`s 3 Tier of powers come with different benefits.

  • Evil WITHIN Tier 1: Tremendously Decreased Terror radius. Moderately decreased movement speed. Moderately decreased lunge.
  • Evil WITHIN Tier 2: Moderately Decreased Terror radius. Slightly Increased movement speed. Moderately increased lunge.
  • Evil WITHIN Tier 3: Moderately Increased Terror radius. Attacks deal double damage. Evil within lasts for 60 seconds after which its power is drained. Missed attacks and Pallet stuns also drain the power completely.

The Doctor. Carters spark. All the same, he is as good as he is.

The Huntress. Hunting Hatchets.

  • Start the trial with 5 hatches.
  • Refill hatches at lockers.
  • Survivors can pick up thrown and missed hatches to throw them back at killer and stun him for 1 seconds. Survivors can`t have more then 1 hatchet. Hatchet is held in the Item slot.

The Cannibal. Bubba`s chainsaw.

  • Start a timed sweeping attack on activation.
  • Can hit multiple targets in one Chainsaw charge.
  • Running into an object puts Cannibal into Tantrum, this attack damages anyone around him.
  • Automatically puts Deep Wound on hit victims.

The Nightmare. Dream Demon. Cannot be affected by stuns coming from awake survivors. Can hit through awake survivors.

The Pig. Jigsaw`s Baptism. RBT automatically activate the timer when exit gates are powered. The More traps are on survivors, the faster their timers go. (1 trap = normal timer, 2 traps = -10 seconds on all traps, 3 traps = -40 seconds on all traps, 4 traps = -60 seconds on all traps. Only active RBTs count).

The Clown. The Afterpiece Tonic. All the same, but survivors hit directly by tonic are slowed and have their controls inverted for the duration of the debuff.

The Spirit. Yamaoka`s Haunting. All the same but can go though obstacles like pallets or windows while using the power.

The Legion. Feral Frenzy. Is deleted, he shouldn`t have existed and he was a mistake. All four Legion Members joined survivors with ######### perks as psychologically unstable survivor without a name who has dissociative identity disorder and thinks he is four different people.

The Plague. Vile Purge. Survivors affected by infection Tier 2 have 10% lower movement speed and 15% reduced repairing speed. Broken. Corrupted Pools of Devotion become clear after 30 seconds.

The Ghost Face. Night Shroud.

  • Press power button to enter stealth mode.
  • In stealth mode you have no terror radius and no red stain.
  • All sounds you make are silenced.
  • You can stalk survivorsfor 4 seconds to put exposed status effect on them
  • You can lean to stalk faster.
  • If you get spotted you will be unnable to stalk the survivor which noticed you for 10 seconds.
  • To get spotted you need to be observed by a survivor for 2 seconds directly.
  • You get warning immidiately after survivor saw you.
  • If you are within 8 meteres from survivor your power will disappear after 2 seconds.
  • After power disappears it starts 10 seconds cooldown.
  • You can crouch to be more stealthy.
  • You move slower while crouching.

    Hilarious, but sadly true.

    They don't make strong killers anymore. Spirit was pretty much the only fluke.

    Missing a chainsaw sweep with Leatherface or Hillbilly grants you a 4 second stun.

    Funny but not entirely true as Hag was made in 2016 and she was actually similar to what you describe. While she had no cooldown on setting traps it was slower and, the worst part, she had a 2 sec delay on hit after teleport which made her just terrible.

    So there were bad killers back then as well. Seriously, Wraith was bad on release and still remains mediocre after they made two cubes dedicated to him. The biggest difference was that survivors weren't as experienced at looping. Though there were actual infinites then so they didn't need to be.

    I understand the joke, but it's not completely fair. Remember Hag and Trapper trap setting times? Remember Wraith unable to interact when cloaked? Remember faster healing times, 100% BNP, pallet vacuum, infinites, no Exhaustion, limited gen regression and a lot more?

    I agree even today, killer is more frustrating than killer, and it will probably stay that way forever: survivor mains are larger in numbers and weaker in character. It's an unfortunate necessity. But some changes, especially in the past year, are steps in the right direction. The devs certainly committed great sins too recently: Legion change, MoM, Plague, etc. But sometimes they come through, like with DS, slower healing, and a number of other changes.

    And anyway, you don't play killer because you want to take the easy path. You play killer because you want to do what's right.

    Sure I`m unfair. Killers in 2016 were suffering from all these things, which made playing agaisnt strong survivors living hell.

    But in this post i`m not talking about difference in balance or else. I am talking about developers which are afraid of making strong killers because it can make some people cry on forums. I am talking about 4.6 M/S Nurse with 3 blinks in the summer of 2016 (ah, these good old days, i barely feel that thrill of waiting for a new killer as I know he would be made extremely weak and unfun to play.

    I only hyperbolize the problem and Devs` policy in balancing new killers.
