Nurse Nerf

So, nurse will get some changes and its more than obvious that its going to be a nerf and not a buff.

Devs, I really hope for you to make the correct decission and Im willing to give u some hints what has to change and what shouldnt be touched at all.

Dont touch:

  • base power. Seriously, no changes for her. QoL is fine other than that NO. Just NO. Its going to be the biggest mistake of DbD's history

Please nerf/remove:

  • Multiple blink addons. I can only think about to completely remove them. I dont think any nerfs (longer fatigue) would change the "Bullshit-factor"
  • Green range Addon ONLY after you guys reworked the large maps and made them smaller. Not before this is done. After making maps smalller it would be overkill for sure so I would fine with nerfing it a bit

Please rework:

  • Nearly all other addons, especially the putple and and green addons. These are absolute trash and hardly used by anyone. The downsides are just to huge or the benefits way to small. Come with something else, something completely new which makes her M2 actually different and not scalling numbers left and right


Just my 2 cents of someone who plays both sides pretty equally and nurse really a lot.

    I just think they should make the 1 extra blink her ultra-rare with a downside of less range on blinks. Still insanely strong, but it would be an ultra-rare so I'm fine with it. Definitely no more 2 blinks addons tho.

    Secondly just lesson the insane lunge after her blink. It's currently very forgiving. It wouldn't affect nurses that are good with their aim.

    That's all I think she needs, not much.

    I disagree. I don't like playing nurse normally, but I know how satisfying it is to land a perfect hit, or even get "From the Void she Kills"

    I love Nurse and I hope they make smart changes to her. Add-ons are extremely problematic and I can't wait for the multiple blink add-on to finally go.

    Typical noobs that don't understand how hard/frustrating she is. plus base nurse is counterable. You want DbD to die nerf and Billy then matchmaking will be extinct.

    And you sound like a nurse main fed up with all the dcs he is getting and not wondering about the core problem because of selfishness.By your logic your comment is as pointless and meaningless as mine.

    I am a Spirit main that occasionally plays Billy. I know when I hit or miss a survivor it is because of skill difference or pure momentary decision with mindgames. Not insta hits with teleporting bs. Pls quit. Have a nice day.

    Dbd will lose nothing if it gets rid of all Nurse mains. It is a necessary evil as they never even think of the problem from both sides. Toxicity at its best.

    That x would be Billy or Spirit. Billy is absolutely fair and a staple of balance towards all killers purely by how easy (or hard) for good survivors to escape. You can run a Billy through 5 gens, or get 4kd by bad decisions. You can delay Spirit by not playing too altruistic and escape fairly by juking and mindgaming even at endgame.

    Now, say the same things for Nurse...

    Against swf, the only way to balance is to extend the game time artifically by some new mechanic which might add another gen to complete, give another free hex totem, extend time to complete gens or whatever imo. They simply need to check if swf and involve swfs ranks and numbers somehow in the calculation.

    As a console Nurse main, the lunge is what makes Nurse playable because it gives you enough time to correct your aim. Bad lunge means less hits; you see this with tier I Myers because he's slow and has to be breathing down the survivors' backs to get his hits.

    Her insane lunge allows bad blinks to land hits where they shouldn't as well as limiting her counter play to specific spots of certain maps. A slightly lower lunge wouldn't affect good nurses but allow for some very small counter play that isn't dependent on the map entirely.

    It only forces better aimed blinks.

    right. that works vs nurses that dont play her well. you should be blinking next to the LOS blocker then readjust with ur next blink. u dont loop nurse lol

    As a legacy nurse i agree with all those changes you mention. But if there is no more than 2 blinks some achievements needs to be changed, the one i can recall that requires 3 is the "from the void she kills".

    Although it will be hard to give us some interesting and not broken purple and red addons, i been waiting a rework for those addons for long time ago. This is the thing i mostly want to get changed.

    Make ONE extra blink Ultra Rare. She does not even need more than 3 blinks in most situations, and she gets many many hits she should never get by having extra blinks.

    Nerf the range add-ons. Big maps are no excuse for the absurd range she gains by stacking them.

    Make her other add-ons actually decent (maybe nerf her base lunge and have add-ons that increase lunge range after her power like Spirit kinda does; anything creative/that changes her gameplay the way other killers' add-ons change the way they play too). Her other add-ons are extremely boring and that's part of the reason why extra range and extra blinks are the only ones worth using (besides them being BS of course).

    I definitely don't think they should aim JUST to nerf her. Her design has a lot of potential for cool add-ons but she doesn't have that. If they change her right she's probably gonna be more fun to play and play against.

    That's why you use LoS blockers to make the Nurse guess where you're at. Will the survivor turn back or will the survivor keep going? Did the survivor hide during my fatigue?

    By that time u can run to the next LoS block, double back, fake double back, crouch around the corner, use a fire barrel/locker to hide, loop around tree etc etc. U r just lazy or to bad to adapt and improve.

    I believe that is more of a console specific issue.

    Here's the thing though, her lunge is so long after blink that she didn't correctly predict my movement because the reach is so far it compensates for her miss.

    In her current form you don't have to guess correctly. They aim for the middle of both choices and the lunge is far enough to correct either way.

    "Did the survivor hide during my fatigue?"

    In general I'd call this unrealistic against a good nurse.

    i tell u why LOS blockers dont work, so u tell me to move on to the next LOS blocker (as if we've forgotten what killer we're talking about) and say im just bad. not gonna bother anymore lol

    I believe that is more of a console specific issue

    It's already hard enough to walk a few meters cause your legs are broke, but that might be a personal limitation for me.

    Console players should keep the lunge, they need to be able to react.

    Be glad they are just nerfing her and not totally removing her from the game as they should.

    Nurse having an extremely high skill cieling is a big reason why she's so popular.

    It's almost like she's one of three killers that can actually go against high skilled survivors.

    I agree the think about her that makes powerfull its the omega blink or with 3 blink i dont know what theyre own plans but they should give us some especific to know if shes going to be good when the rework comes out

    Then delete legion because he does literally the same thing she does (ignore game mechanics) but does it in a way thats autistic and requires no skill whatsoever
