The problem with this suggestion is that it would accomplish nothing for a two reasons ;
- The devs clearly put a lot of time and effort into making each update we get. Not everything they make is going to be perfect as I'd rather have flawed content than no content at all as at least it can get fixed later on.
- Nothing would ever get released if the community had the power to vote against a killer. Sure we could prevent a weak killer from being released with such an idea but what's going to stop survivors from preventing a strong killer from being released?

That's true. The issue isn't that weak/strong killers get released. The big issue is that they get released, maybe get a tweak in the mid chapter, and then they just get abandoned in favour of the next new content.
Look at Plague? You remember Plague? Probably not, because nobody plays a killer that loses the interactive part of their power 10 seconds into a match because survivors aren't choosing to give her the other half of her power.
She's the most recently released killer, and we've barely seen any of her issues addressed. She's just been swept under the rug for Ash and Ghostface to release.
After a killer drops, they need to have at least SOME dedicated support to that killer for a decent duration. Give it a month to settle into its niche or something, but somewhat regular tweaks need to be expected, not a rarity.

Well, I don't think it's fair to say that they aren't doing their best. Afterall their job is to make the game, not master every aspect of it. If we look at Spirit for instance, she started off as an average killer but with some changes the developers made thanks to feedback she turned into an amazing killer.
Plus that doesn't address the second point, which is that if the developers took this idea into account then survivors would be able to deny strong killers from being released.

As a customer you can vote with your wallet.
The Ghostface is a killer only release, so the target audience is already reduced. The devs will get the message if they don't reach their sales expectations.

Some kids will just buy GF cuz his T-bagging ha-bully-ty thought

Just vote with your wallet and be done with it

What is the problem?
If you don't like the killer because you think he's crap, don't play him. Don't buy him. Don't give money for him.

Voting to say you're not happy is understandable but without a valid reason (which a lot of voters won't have) then you'll just have to put up and shut up. Not everything is to everyone's taste. If it needs changing voting against it releasing won't help them out.

@BACKSTABBER the only solution is not buy it. If it doesn't sell well they will have to change it or they wasted the last 3 months.

Money was already spent to pay the people working on this killer. Some randoms on a forum completely stopping the release of a killer that people worked months to create? This isn't a democracy. BHVR is a business, and consumers vote with their money. If you don't like the new killer, don't buy him.
The problem is that BHVR needs people who recognize whether or not the team should spend months creating a killer who works a certain way, that way they don't waste resources and lose money. I don't expect everyone at BHVR to be experts at playing their game, but they could save time and money if they employed a few people who are actual players. Still, we're talking employees or consultants who can work with the team, not some randoms on the internet complaining or voting in a poll.

Instead of saying "oh my god this killer sucks just don't do a chapter better luck next time" we should say what we think is wrong and how we'd like to fix it,
Which is what a lot of people are doing and I'm sure the devs understand the situation now. It is just a PTB which is meant for us to test and give feedback, which is what people are doing. Saying we should cancel it entirely is not helping, and you aren't really adding anything meaningful to the overall community wide conversation about the new killer.

They should be able to make whatever additions they want as long as it's legal.
I know right now i'm just not buying him.

Given that the majority of the playerbase are survivors, this would be a terrible idea. They would just keep voting out any killer that is more than a M1 spammer, over 50 move speed, and isn't automatically stunned when entering a pallet's area before the pallet is even dropped (and subsequently stunned again when it is).
This is easily proven by the amount of crying about the only 3 good killers in the game, and the review bombing anytime something happens that makes it so they can't bully killers.
