It’s somewhat of a meme based on the behaviour of new Survivor players; pick Dwight, dive in a locker when the Killer’s around.

I think it was also when the first original players came out, Dwight kind of didn't have anything as was deemed a little useless back then in the early days. Meg runs quick, Cladette self care and he sort of was just there, so it's like he hid in lockers most of the time as he sort of was there, and it turned into a meme. But Dwight has had a big turn around etc, this was back in the early early days i believe.

@DoubleTap i believe this meme comes from the early days of DbD. a time where not everyone had all teachables (and they were harder to get) and every survivor had a certain role to play. claudette was the healer, meg the one that runs the killer around, jake was the sabotage guy, and dwight was.. dwight. useless sitting in a locker to avoid danger and buffing his team if they were around the locker.
also, when you open a locker and find a survivor in it, there is usually a 50% chance of that survivor being dwight...
fun fact: Dwights hate Huntress players, because they always get found when the Huntress tries to reload. this is a fact and applies to every single dwight player out there! anyone who tells you otherwise is not a real dwight! (jk)
