Despite it being a strategy Camping is one of the most annoying things to come across as a survivor. I think I have a solution that may seem overpowered but really helps bring the negativity down. It would work like this: once a survivor is hooked a circle appears in the killers veiw this will be the no go zone if the killer is in this zone actions(gens, healing, cleansing) are done faster the longer they're in the circle the faster it gets.

"How do you do, fellow killers"?

I see you have the wraith as your portrait. My condolences.. despite the irony of my own avatar of choice. >.>''

To be honest, Wraith is quite good with the best addons and the Tinkerer. Sadly, killer that depends on his addons is #########-tier...

I have no problems with camping itself. It's annoying and puzzling playing as a survivor because most decent survivors look at a camper and go, "whelp back to gens," unless they have BT, and in the end killers will lose against survivors that give up saving someone against a camper. It only ever works if survivors don't know when to cut their losses and go back to gens, which is why I hate low rank as survivor.

As a killer, there's only two occasions I'll camp, if the exit gates are powered or I know there's two or more survivors hanging around. If you know you can end chases quickly using your killer, or youre using Nurse/Billy, (who end chases the fastest) it's more efficient to leave the hook, as that's one survivor on the hook, another to save, and then you find another so you're always keeping the pressure on. Less experienced killers, or killers not confident in their ability, camp because it's one of the only ways for them to get kills.

And in the end, while I always consider 2 kills a win, if I don't get at least two, but pip, I'm fine with it. Same with escaping as survivor, if I die but pip I'm happy with that too. But it's more fun imo on both sides if the killer doesn't camp. The game would be much better imo if they added more objectives to lengthen the game and take pressure off the killer, which might decrease camping.

If the killer is camping the hook, give survivors distraction points. In the end its a 4v1 game, sacrificing 1 for 3 is a good deal, teach them that their sacrifice isnt in vain. All survivors should get bonus points for each survivor that escapes.

Campers and tunnelers are going to do that no matter what. So just learn to loop , bring flashlights, do gens. You could be a fair player but that doesn’t mean the killer will be fair so just play how you want with what you want, they do.

It should based off skill not because a killer decides to camp its just unfair

And how does a Killer camp, exactly, without first being more skilled than the Survivor he caught? It's definitely based on skill. Specifically, the lack of skill from the Survivor.

What how could u say that for 1 killer moves way faster than a survivor can cause damage to a survivor and the survivor cant fight back your going to catch them no matter if the killer has skill or not because once u get the feel u cant get them u tunnel then camp them its a known fact its a killer 101
I suggest you play killer on your own (not at rank 20, climb to high ranks) and then you will uner stand how long a single survivor can actually loop the killer

Honestly I hold the devs to blame the hook system is utterly broken and offer far too many second chances for your average m1 killer. If you want to win as killer you milk hooks as best you can and rule of thumb eliminate a player as soon as 2 or 3 gens are complete. A comeback mechanic should be introduced to help a killer come back . Perhaps a free mori once the 3rd or fourth gen is powered and 4 survivors must be alive. Survivors have countless perks that help them come back and killer perks that work at the end game rather then as gens are being completed are too conditional to work.

I play both killer and survivor, so I'm going to try and go into this totally unbiased. The question is if we are talking about hook patrolling or facecamping. I am totally okay as a survivor if a killer is hook patrolling (meaning staying close to the hook, but not directly on top of it), however, if they are directly face camping, it's just not fun for anyone. I'm a rank 8 killer, and I do patrol hooks once in a while (I run BBQ and Chili) if I see that the survivors are close. I do get backlash for it, but If they realize that I'm close to the hook, they shouldn't stay in the area for too long. Facecamping is an issue. It leads the killer to an easy lose if the survivors recognize the fact that he/she is facecamping. So then, they gen rush and the killer loses with a single kill. Then, the survivor (under the circumstances that it was an early hook) loses a pip, or a good item.
Although some may say that the survivor needs to, quote on quote, "git gud", I do believe that if you are playing in higher ranks, and you are being a respectful player, you do not deserve to be face camped. There are many killers that are high ranked that had add ons that reduce their stun time, and this can lead to them hitting you, recovering, then blood-lusting into you- BAM, you're down. A rank one survivor can play against a rank one killer and still be downed and hooked (and even face camped sometimes!). And trust me, as a rank 7 survivor, I've gone into games where I'm with a rank 3 survivor and rank 4 killer, where the rank 3 gets downed and then face camped. It sucks, really. I am totally open to discussion about this, since I know there's a big debate about it all.

But I do agree that cocky players who tea-bag and mock the killer should be facecamped. I don't think it's fair to be a jerk to a killer who hasn't unleashed their full potential. Especially if it's a newbie killer. So please, don't be a survivor that perpetuates the stereotype that this community is toxic.

Also, please don't cuss out the killer post-game. It ruins the game for everyone. Survivors get a bad rep, and killers stop playing killers because of toxic survivors. Keep in mind that we need killers in order to play the game :)

I do not intend to come off as rude in my message, so please forgive me if I sounded rude or off-putting.
