Exhaustion tier list (yes again)
I figured since head on has been out for a little bit, it was time to do a tier list again.
1.Balanced Landing (potential for infinite loops)
2.Sprint Burst (this perk let’s you get a decent edge at the start of a chase, works well with WOO.)
3.Lithe (Windows aren’t hard to find usually.)
4.Dead hard (lag kills this perk.)
5.Head on (latency)

I think once infinites be closed lithe will be better than BL

Imo sb will be better but my opinion is a bit different.

Sprint Burst is the best of them if you use it properly. It's the only one that can be used on demand when the killer catches you out of position.
Lithe is a poor man's sprint burst where you are significantly more likely to take a hit if the killer catches you out of position. Balanced Landing is a perk that lets you run pseudo-infinites on some maps such as Haddonfield, but it's almost useless on other maps, and I would almost always run Balanced Landing with either Lithe or Dead Hard to prevent getting screwed over by a bad map spawn. Honestly I would say these two perks are tied for second, with Balanced Landing being better on the more vertical maps and on certain set pieces, while Lithe is a more general use perk that is okay on most maps.
Dead Hard is probably 4th place just because of how finnicky it is. It's better than Balanced Landing and Lithe in a few specific situations (such as playing against a skilled Nurse or Trapper); but most of the time it's only going to give you a small benefit one time before the killer knows to expect it during the 2nd and even the 3rd chase. Requiring you to be injured is also a major problem with it because it means you are significantly more likely than you are using the other three to take that first hit simply because you don't have an exhaustion perk until you do. This is one of the few perks where I don't agree with how popular it is versus how good it actually performs. Especially when you take latency into account.
Head On is just a meme perk tbh.
Adrenaline is a special case where I wouldn't really try to compare it to any of the above. It's inclusion (or lack thereof) in your build does not really affect your decision on whether or not to take one of the others.

I agree with u on sprint burst. on demand use while requiring no situational awareness makes it pretty stupid. I will say tho dead hard is really annoying when used correctly (thankfully 95% of survivors don't use it correctly). those moments when u should have a down but then the survivor dead hards to get enough distance to make it to a pallet or window can hurt.
4 -
Adrenaline users: “Am I a joke to you?”
All jokes aside Imo Head On shouldn’t be an exhaustion perk. Just make it a cooldown perk.

im not sure which is better between Lithe and Balanced Landing.
I find more places where I am able to use lithe than places where I can use balanced landing. The downside of Lithe though is that you cant vault freely if its off cd and you might waste it if the killer hits you through the window.
1 -
Sprint Burst should be pretty close to the bottom. It severely limits your movement for the entire match to avoid using it and greatly lowers your efficiency in everything besides chases because of this.
Lag affects Dead Hard sometimes, it doesn't 'kill the perk.' I still wouldn't out it above Lithe/BL as once it goes off once, if that, it can be counterplayed by the killer where the others are mostly in survivor control.
Head On isn't poor due to latency, the devs have talked about it on stream and essentially the issue is that the hitbox and timing for it are incredibly small and unintuitive and it's being fixed sometime.
2 -
Remove exhaustion from Head On, make it a cooldown perk.
Add fast locker exits to Lithe and make it consistent with Quick and Quiet and Dance With Me that work on rushed vaults AND locker exits.
Head On/Lithe = New meta.

I feel like all exhaustion perks (except Head On) are equally powerfull.
One can be better than the other in some situations, and in others not so much.
All of them are situational and great in their own situation

I’ve started using Sb and my survival rate has increased, imo opinion it is one of the best.

Sprint Burst puts you in crutches all game, you have to walk until you wanna use it.
Dead Hard is situational, some insta down Killers will make Dead Hard useless, it's one of my favorites though, a good Dead Hard saves a life.
Balanced Landing is super situational and predictable, no high rank will jump off a ledge without Balanced Landing.
Lithe is situational as well, in a full health state, it's nice to get smacked and get that burst from a smack and a vault burst, but it's dangerous to use but super effective in escaping your Killer.
Head on is a joke, don't even need to discuss it.
Adrenaline is only as good as your teammates are, you depend on your team to finish gens, bad teams = no Adrenaline.

I'll never understand people putting DH at the bottom.
This perks helps so much in loops, people that use this to evade killer's attack are probably rank 20s. It's best used to extend a loop or help reach a pallet window which otherwise you wouldn't be able to. You can also correct looping mistakes (getting stuck on ######### etc).
Also how is BL better than Lithe ? It literally does the same thing plus not every map has a ledge you can drop from. Only map this perks makes an actual difference on is Haddonfield because it opens up a whole new world of infinite loops because of the 75% reduced stagger duration.
Next up Sprint burst, why on second spot ? Literally forces you to walk whole game, or you can run but risk being exhausted when you actually need it and you just end up playing with 3 perks.
My tier list would be:
1) Dead Hard
2) Lithe
3) Balanced Landing
4) Sprint burst
5) Head on
I'd put Adrenaline on first if you count it as an actual exhaustion perk.
3 -
Me neither. DH is by far the best exhaustion perk imo.
2 -
Imagine putting sprint burst that high in 2019.
The ultimate looper exhaustion tier list is to put balanced and dead hard on 1. Place
2 -
I’m always happy to see all the bad survivors who think Sprint Burst is bad; because it means they probably won’t be running it if I end up playing against them.

@HavelmomDaS1 Balanced Landing, I agree. Lithe is definitely better than Dead hard though. Dead hard saves you from messing up, but with Lithe you're usually not in a position where you mess up. Lithe can get you right out of deadzones which is so underrated about it. It can also help you rush to a hook, gen or something if you wont make it normally.
It can save you from Billys because of this. Huntress can counter it, but not exactly, you can still relatively easily activate it, it just takes thinking. That's not to say Dead hard is bad, it's really good, just not Lithe tier.
For me it's:
Balanced Landing>>>>>>Lithe>>>>>>Dead Hard>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sprint Burst (these four are solid, now it's for me bad ones)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Head on.
I don't really count Adrenaline as one btw.

In his opinion it is bad, no need for insults.

In the average game where I escape, I will use Sprint Burst more than 10 times. 15 is not unheardoFor the other three perks, that number is more limited to 3 to 5 times. The cool down should not be a problem for you unless you play the game suboptimally, so the downside to running sprint burst is minimal to non existent.
2 -
@Poweas yeah I can see where u and the others are coming from with Lithe. It's probably the best perk to get away from dead zones cuz windows are common.
I personally try to avoid running into dead zones in the first place. My goal as survivor is to get chased first (automatically I know where pallets exists cuz I'm the first one who will use them) and extend them as much as possible while beeing quite greedy with pallets for optimal chase potential of my other mates once I'm downed. And that's when DH comes handy and outclasses all other perks. It gives you a tiny but very significant difference to extend a chase during looping when you misjudged the killer speed (bloodlust usually kicking in).
0 -
@HavelmomDaS1 but when there's one of those split maps, and you're 3 genned against any killer, with a massive dead zone, Lithe completely outclasses Dead hard. Like not even a challenge :P.
Dead hard is good for extending a chase, but at the same time, isn't Sprint burst good? It can hard counter Wraiths windstorm, Pigs dash, Spirit phasing at you, Billys saw, Nurses blink, and pretty much every power except Hag and Trapper.
Lithe can also promote not wasting pallets because of the speed boost, at a jungle gym, if you loo the pallet, and then use the window to get across the map without dropping the pallet, it wastes a LOT of time and it breaks bloodlust. It can completely waste time and make Dead hard irrelevant in comparison.
Idk, like I said, Dead hard is really strong and viable in its own world but it comes down to a matter of preference. If you wanted the strongest exhaustion perks, you'd run Balanced landing or Lithe, but Dead hard is still good. Even Sprint burst is good and still very strong.
It's all based on which suits your style, for me Lithe is a godsend for my style.
1 -
balanced landing
dead hard
sprint burst
lithe
head on
if we're talking about overall gameplay efficiency then BL is by far the best perk. unless you're on shelter woods it can be used as an on-command sprint burst and it turns many loops and buildings into pseudo-infinites. even if this perk didn't grant the speed boost after falling it'd be absurd, the stagger reduction is its best element
1 -
For me it's:
Lithe, It'll proc at least once per match
Head on, because memes.
Sprint burst, I'd prefer to choose whether or not to use my perk.
Balanced landing, because I never get ANY map where this is good. Also too situational.
Dead hard, because it NEVER. F***ING. WORKS.
1 -
I like lithe for the fact that I can run AND have it when I want it. If I use Q&Q or Dance With Me, it's just rude.
1 -
Sprint Burst should not prevent you from running most of the time if you are managing your cooldowns effectively. You shouldn't be running near the killer unless they've spotted you; and you shouldn't have to worry about the cooldown that much if you aren't near the killer. It recharges naturally while you are on a gen, and there are ways to effectively recharge it while pallet looping, you should not be caught completely off cooldown withotu a way to recover unless you are playing suboptimally. And the benefit of being able to initiate a chase with a missed killer hit and the ability to use it as soon as your teammate has unhooked you far outweighs the minimal amount of time Sprint Burst is going to force you to walk in a situation where you otherwise shouldn't be walking.

I'm always happy to see the bad survivors who run Sprint Burst; because it means gens don't get done while they creep around the map at snail pace.
0 -
If they are doing that then yeah they are bad survivors.
0 -
Depends on your experience in most games. More than half my games I cant get it to work since my teammates just want to get chase by the killer and camp near other survivors that are hook to get ez unhook points. Which Adrenaline most time a wasted perk slot for me.

Overall:
1.Balance Landing
2.Dead Hard
3.Sprint Burst
4.Lithe
PC High Rank(BC Nurse's)
1.Dead Hard
2.Balance Landing
3.Sprint Burst
4.Lithe
and I will not even argue with anyone bc this is truth

How is Sprint Burst 2nd? Surely 1 spot above Head On? Its not efficient walking around everywhere instead of sprinting, run everywhere and do gens. Instead of creeping around like a Meg

Dead Hard is top tier but only when used properly. Most survivors don't use it to it's full extent
