I find at least 50% of 'tunnelling', as perceived from survivors (which I play most of the time) are cases of "I'll take whoever I can get, but I saw the just-unhooked one first. Bad luck for you!" (Occasionally when they see both at the same time and decide to go for the injured one because it's an easier down). Which I think is totally fair, although granted, not too fun for the survivor. Asking the killer to specifically always go for the more difficult choice out of a sense of fair play is like asking survivors to never loop because it just wastes too much of the killer's time and doesn't make it fun.

Yes, there are occasional aggressive 'I will ignore every other easier target and go for the one who just got unhooked' and that does take it to another level, but usually they're bad killers anyway and you can mock them in the end-game chat (or a survivor is themselves playing like a $@!$, like LashShoe mentioned).

Yes I totally agree with your answer but the think is that we "the survivors" come here for at gain a pip, and for that we have to "done 80% a gen / at least unhook and heal the others / get purchased and try to brain the killer" the think that you did (maybe) not noticed that the killers that we call "tunnelers" are usually killer who're purchassing someone and when they see the unhook explosion they leave their purchase for go get back the injured one, that totally Unfair, I think they should add at least 10sec Bodyprotect to the unhooked guys which will (maybe) stop tunnels and some of the killers just move a little bit around for feint the other survivors and when unhooked they directly come back that's what "I" call "a Camper and Tunneler" lot of players are leaving the game cause of these Toxic killers they really should do something :/

@HateMe the game is growing actually lol

, at free weekend it hit a new peak of 75K players. Survivors are not getting more freebies to escape like your idea of 10 second immunity. Have you played killer once before? Good luck getting any kills with that stupid idea

Yeah I've seen the thread on steam about that, but the think is that I'm playing the game for soon 400hours, on 400hours of gameplays Fair killers are really quit of them, all the time the killer stands infront of me because I brained him alot of times or I've put so many pallets on him etc.. easy way for dispip a survivor.. When i started playing the game as everyone I've not noticed that but when I learned what was "tunneling" and "camping" I've seen all these things happening and for your question "YES" I do play as killer too, The one called Toxic and unsurvivable vs him lol "the doc" and with him I never Tunnel and I never camp but I finish all my games with 4 sacrifices, I've lost only 1 game the 4 survivors had lamptorch and they were playing really good they were like rank 2-7-8-8 and I was rank 10, So i know what I am talking about I just think that devs took time to develops killers but they don't check survivors cause as you know killers got brocken perks (we've got too but hard to use) by brocken I'm talking about "Chili" and "The one shot when gens done" when Chili is used with Ruin it's really hard to play but we can make it but when you see these 2 perks or these 3 and they still tunneling..(:@) and they're answer is "So What it's allowed.." just trying to give idea about that I don't want to leave the game just for tunnelers and campers you know..

Tunneling is in general simply a good idea. A player using an effective strategy does not imply poor skill, in fact it is the opposite. Yes there are obviously times where you shouldn't tunnel. But all things being equal it's best to target the player you've hooked the most over anyone else.

Camping and tunneling, while legitimate strategies, are indicative of crap personalities and outlooks on gameplay - plus, it tends not to be rewarded in terms of points.

Nah. It can be effective and efficient. If used correctly, that is.

If you get tunneled just be a tryhard and go to all the good loops you'll still probably die but I play like a decent human being till I get tunneled then I start sweating, tunneling is a valid tactic tho.

So by trying to maximize efficient by removing weakened targets because that is the odds on best way to improve your chances of success. You've got to have a crap personality and outlook on gameplay? That makes no sense.

If we just take it to a points reward level, tunneling is directly rewarded as the game specifically asks killers to get a large amount of hooks. Camping isn't really rewarded, but it isn't so unrewarding that you can't pip while doing it. The killer has to do what is necessary within the rules of the game to get their objective done. No other outside rules matter. That would be like telling survivors to just arbitrarily slow down doing gens or don't run killer shack for longer than 10s. No one's going to follow that stuff. You want to rank up? You strap in and play the game to the best your ability. If that means a sweaty tunnel happens then that's the game.

If you play survivor, there's some chance that at some point you'll die. If it's too much to take, maybe dbd is not for you. Understand, the killer is playing AGAINST you, not WITH you. Quite a simple concept, I'm not sure why so many players cannot come to terms with it.

Camping isn't an effective strategy, except in specific situations. Tunneling, however, is almost always an effective strategy. You quickly eliminate players from the game, meaning that the game runs exponentially slower. Especially if it ends up being a good player, then you're out a good player that would slow the game down for you.
